Most "In Development" games get a price hike as their release date approaches.
I'm not sure if it worths mention because the game was released today. Newsletter users as me read on the e-mailt the first price but now but the regional price of Panzer Dragoon Remake was just updated.

AR: $8.65 instead of $26.06 from a few hours ago.

I bet it also was changed in other regions.

Makes sense. I've never notice the rule – perhaps because of my little interest in new releases ;)

It's rather introduction of regional price in your region. No change of base price in both US and PL.

Another sad news :( Thanks for all the years and efforts to provide us price updates!
It seems that a lot of things changes here quickly – it's sad that there is no proper reaction from GOG staff.

I don't know the whole story of the thread. I can see your OP, however I mainly associate the thread with posts of muntdefems and immi101 (I guess they used MaGog data, even if muntdefems was the person, who showed me how to use GOG API to grab regional prices:). I guess I'll never provide such an accurate information here, but I'd like to continue this exact thread with base price updates from time to time, as I've already done above – are you ok with that?

Of course. I'd be honoured.

Don't Starve – from $14.99 to $9.99 (-33%)

And, by the way, GOG has removed demo version of Against the Storm.

I'm really sorry for not buying the BloodRayne games a few years ago when they were so cheap. And now this.

Also, I just added Slave Zero to my wishlist yesterday!! Damn.

According to SteamDB, Ziggurat Interactive did the same on Steam in September and now they finally made it to GOG.

I think the point is that all these price tags were set by the previous owners (Majesco, Piko Interactive). Ziggurat Interactive just decided to set their own prices for the games they now own.

They also adjusted the regional prices for these games on GOG (until today, most of these games don't have regional price tags here).

For my region, some of them ended up with 80% price increases.

Seems a little steep for 15-17 year old games with no active support. (We're still waiting for the Advent Rising update that was pushed to Steam years ago).
