GOG's exchange rates appear to have changed, with GBP rising against the dollar - Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines now costs £13.69 when it used to cost £14.19, for instance, and I think $5.99 games have decreased from £4.19 to £4.09 (they may have been £4.29). Have other currencies changed too?

I don't follow - was it a bug that got a bugged fix? Or do the conversion rate changes have anything to do with this?

My guess is that it was a bug that was then fixed with another bug.

Cavalary: This is an unusual change, price going UP months after launch. How does anyone justify that?

HypersomniacLive: Raised an eyebrow for me, too. Wonder if we have other such examples.

EDIT: The latest changelog mentions:
NOTE! ADD +++ Voice over for the all cut scenes!

HypersomniacLive: Perhaps the price increase has to do something with the cost of this?
Devs explanation about price change.

Or it got the full regional pricing treatment, adding the 16.99 price for that, and then they remembered to lower it back for US/CA. Because the economic realities of the whole rest of the world are better, ya know?
Ah. Doesn't explain the lowering for US/CA though. Guess this may be the bug then?

high rated
Guess I was right about the recent update causing the increase. Still doesn't explain why the price went back to $14.99 in the US and CA regions, though.

CA has a raging wildfire and therefore deserves the lower price.
US has a raging trump and therefore deserves the lower price.
