Grargar: A reminder; when a currency gets stronger, flat-priced games become cheaper (in your local currency) as the conversion rate is more beneficial for your currency. The opposite is also true (a weaker currency results in more expensive flat-priced games).

Regarding regionally-priced games, their value is always the same in their local currency. For instance, regardless of any kind of fluctuation, Wasteland 2 Digital Classic will always cost €40. The only things that will change are the value of the fair price package and the equivalent $ price. A stronger local currency will increase the value of both, while a weaker local currency will decrease them.
Ahhh, good times when the $ was weaker than the euro, you could save a lot from online purchases.... sigh....

It still is, but not as much as, say, 10 years ago when 1 EUR was worth 1.25 USD or more. :\

10 years? Try 2. In March 2014, €1 was equal to $1.39 and it's definitely not the historical highest.

OMG, you're right! The historic maximum was way higher than $1.25, though that was 8 years ago: in early 2008 the exchange rate almost reached $1.60. O_o

These were indeed golden times for buying in USD from Europe over the internet (or for travelling over to America and spending like there's no tomorrow :P)

So what is up with the 'below US price' strategy for Australia? Does GOG try to gain customers there with lower prices? Isn't Australia a high-price country?
