Hi, I'm a dumbass. I blocked and cleared the conversation but the users name is V0NYER. A zero instead of the capital letter O. The conversation was to send my two keys on chat along with my email address. He would then mail me a gift for the new Van Helsing. (Spelunky + Gabriel Knight 3 for this more expensive new game was the first red flag). I then googled his name and found the GOG wiki. Next time I will save conversations and post screenshots.

I've already said all that was needed to be said about the slandering tactics and false accusations of the self-confessed scammer. Here, let me repeat it, perhaps the message will get through this time: Anyone with a little sense can judge for themselves what and why he's doing what he's doing; all it takes is to read his posts.

On a side note - it's hilarious how the self-confessed scammer goes around falsely accusing others of being alt accounts of the same person, only to admit that he's using alt accounts himself. Not that this comes as a surprise either, it's the signature M.O. of scammers here.

LOL! Steam has banned countless accounts so far. That is ONE (of many) reasons I like GOG much more.

Yes, the real Schizo2015 is blocked because he offered me Ethereal 1+2 worthless Bundlestars STEAM keys, when I was asking for Eternal Lords GOG ONLY. I don't think I will be getting any sense out of that guy, sorry.

Steam scammers are reported ad infinitum on Steam and they still operate months after that with no effect whatsoever.

SteamRep are completely useless too. The mods there don't even bother to read the reports properly half the time. It can still be a useful site to see unconfirmed reports though. But Steamrep BANNED users still operate on Steam with free rein. It's a complete farce.

I have to continually 'prune' my 'friend' list on Steam because of this situation. You get people adding you who have SteamRep BANNED friends on their lists, and before long you have a friend list that looks like a scammers' friends of friends list before long. ;)

That is funny. If you are an honorable user on steam and use vpn or similar your account could be completely banned (at least I heard of such things many times). They do have strange priorities on steam.
