It's good to hear that they're coming back, as they were one of my favourite functions of the website. It may be worth adding this info to the op of the big celebration thread, as it seems quite a few people are worried that they've been removed permanently.

They've been silent on the non-working GOGmixes for 2 months now, and only a few days ago one user got an email from GOG Support in response to his question about fixing them - telling him that there are no plans to support the feature further.
So this one blurb we got from a mod here hinting that GOGmix support is still on the table shouldn't be taken for the end and all.. don't get your hopes up until we actually see the feature back and working.

Darvond: Eeeh, I'm going to be honest, I didn't find much use in the mixes.
Most of them were basically [USERNAME'S] WIDGETY LIST OF GAMES USING OVERTLY SPECIFIC CRITERIA.
Even the only one I looked at, the BOG was at best quite spotty in providing actual information about allegedly bad games.
Many of them have been outmoded or been made redundant now due to new browsing options.
The best GOG mix by far was the "Games that treat GOG customers as second-class citizens. It showed you which games were a bad idea to buy on GoG because of unavailable DLC, patches that don't match the steam version, and mods that aren't available for the GOG version. Without that mix I'm not comfortable buying games on this platform anymore. Will be solely using steam until it returnsMost of them were basically [USERNAME'S] WIDGETY LIST OF GAMES USING OVERTLY SPECIFIC CRITERIA.

rjbuffchix: I would like GOGmixes back too, they were helpful. And I'm sure I'm in the minority of modern consumers, but my free, unsolicited business advice is to be different, not the same.
I care more about the opinions of a fellow DRM-free gamer, and enjoy seeing a link to such, than I do about YouTube and Twitch personalities who pick a list of games (do they even pick the games themselves?).
Linko90: Yes, that's literally the concept of the collections. I care more about the opinions of a fellow DRM-free gamer, and enjoy seeing a link to such, than I do about YouTube and Twitch personalities who pick a list of games (do they even pick the games themselves?).
As for the mixes, we're still in the teething stages of the redesign, hold tight.

That problem is made worse by the fact that GOG continues to include the outdated games in sales and bundles. Currently the “10th Anniversary Collection II: The Art of Aging Gracefully” bundle has two (of three) outdated games.

I'd like to see GOG mixes more streamlined. What I mean is public mixes where everyone can contribute. For example a good for kids mix where anyone can add games to the list and everyone can vote. For example if somebody added Wither to the kids mix, it would only have say a 5% other users agree this game belongs to this mix. Then sort the games by highest percentage, and add other ways to manually sort the list.
Also it should add filters where you can cut the list of games if you want at a certain percentage.
The duplicates could be merged or marked as duplicates. For example if there is a good for kids mix and a good for children mix then people can vote it as a duplicate and if voted by say 1000 people at 75% it would go away. Also if you create a public mix it can show you the mixes with similar names to prevent on creating duplicates.

Breja: To be honest I had absolutely no use out of the mixes and never made one myself, but it still feel disrespectful towards the users who took time to make them to just ditch them like that. It's downright bizarre how on one hand GOG is pushing various social/community features, but ditch one that was already in place, popular, unintrusive and as far as I know unique to GOG. All to introduce a all-round inferior layout.
Just a quick question. You are in way way interested in knowing if a game you bought/will buy is outdated and has missing updates? I find that a very important piece of information. Looking at the answer Linko gave, I would wager a DRM free game (sorry, but Gwent is out of the question) that they are not coming back this year if ever. This answer is imho just stalling and hoping people are forgetting about it.

rextrendy: My sentiments exactly. The best GOG mix, which I can't find since they're down, describes which games here have DRM-free LAN multiplayer, versus which ones only have online multiplayer through Galaxy client.
