Started a GOG Mix of some of the most awesome games, I´ve ever played, with interesting and funny characters(due to their stereotypes).

Suggestions will be welcome:

No thanks, I like my men feature-complete and bug-free.
What's more alpha than a guy who can outrun rockets and goes to mars to kill demons, then goes to hell to kill more demons, and comes back to earth to kill even more demons? Yes Doomguy.

Sam is pretty friggin alpha too.

Half of those games I play as a female.

Sam or Doomguy?

That's similar to my first thought. I feel enough like a buggy work-in-progress as it is, I'd instead like to feel fully feature-complete and with all the bugs patched-out.

Serious Samantha, yeah!

Okay not quite half.

All the Saints Row, Carmageddon, Unreal, and Morrowind. 7 out of 20.

Project Zomboid. While you can play as female too, your char tries to survive the global zombie apocalypse. There is no cure, and you are alone.

Blood series, because main character (Caleb) had balls to revolt against god of evil, and defeated him singlehandedly.

Also, the Monk in Crimsonland - because he is alone on the planet full of aliens.

The ultimate in this category - Bulletstorm- is sadly not available on GOG.

Of the ones we do have - Republic Commando feels pretty bad-ass I think. Somehow the fact you're commanding a squad instead of winning the enitre war by yourself makes it feel more bad-ass than many of those one-man-army FPS games.

I guess Apotheon kinda fits in here too. I mean, you get to literally climb Olympus and kick all the gods asses, including Zeus himself. Can't get much more alpha male than that :D

Saints Row? But the boss is a badass female! ;)

I guess this guy would qualify as an alpha male? He even has the features of a lion, kind of.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I added them to my list. I played all the games suggested but not beaten yet. However I can confirm they are all Adventures that guarantee high levels of testosterone LOL.

Almost agreed, except that:
* I prefer to not have men in the first place
* I prefer that only the bad bugs are eradicated; I would prefer that the good bugs be left in.

Incidentally, I don't see Morrowind as particularly "manly"; you can play a female character, the music (in particular the main theme) features lots of woodwinds, and the combat density is a lot lower than in most games I've played.

Also, the only game on that list that I've played (and the only one I plan on ever playing at this point) is Morrowind, and I have only played female characters in that game.

(By the way, that second bullet point I made is why I am suspicious of mods that claim to "fix" bugs, as I am worried that they would destroy bugs that I actually *want* to keep.)

Also, a couple little things:
1. Not all of us are guys.
2. I wouldn't classify most of those games as adventure games.

The guys in games like Saint's row aren't "alpha males", they're criminal scum who should be hunted down by vigilantes and exterminated. And in "Carmaggedon" you're playing a psycho who gets turned on by running over pedestrians.
But as for games who really feature "alpha males"...Outcast comes to mind. Cutter Slade was pretty alpha imo.
Maybe Broforce and Wolfenstein 3D?

Erm, woodwinds aren't manly?
Are you aware, that because of the usually phallic form, nuns were forbidden to play them back in the day? ;D

I can't even begin to fathom how music of all things could be sorted into "masculine" and "feminine".
This whole role-model bs is beyond me and all the plenty gender-warriors I know (which are quite a lot in this town) ironically seem to be caught in this regressive mindset more than anyone else.

I prefer music made on real instruments and it doesn't matter which kind, so gimme woodwinds while swinging my sword, certainly better than an electric guitar in this particular context.
