Have you people managed to run gog games on your android mobile devices? There seens to be quite a lot of dosbox clones there, some free some not, some recently updated some seemingly abandonned, and hey there even seems to be an emulator dedicated to fallout and might&magic.

It's a little jungle. Has anyone already explored it, and determined what works best with gog versions of dos games? Is there even anything that gives satisfactory results?
I did manage to run of adventure games with ScummVM, worked perfectly.
I was going to suggest Dos Box Turbo for android
Then I found this.

It's old but helpful.

I have no personal experience with this but you can try aDosBox, it seems to be currently in development.
Are there any tutorials how to use aDosBox or Dosbox Turbo in order to get GOG games on an Android tablet? And how buggy is the performance? Is the interface good enough? What games are actually fun?

I want to use my tablet more often to play games on the couch, instead of sitting in front of my desktop.
I downloaded ScummVM on Android but I haven't tried anything on it. Might as well try Pajama Sam 2 on it, when I get the time in the far future. But I can let you know that there is also a dedicated emulator for Wolfenstein 3D, complete with touch and gamepad controls. You can also hide the touch buttons and it'll be like the Wolfenstein 3D of ages ago on your Android device in a nearly identical experience.
I've attempted Fallout 2 with my old ipod touch a long while ago with Dosbox turbo... didn't work well, Still want to try it with newer hardware and a better OS (anything but apple/ios)

I have also tried Gemrb for my D&D games on android... that too didn't work well, I still haven't figured out how to get the games to load. I just went back to the computer version :P
DosBox Turbo works very well on my Samsung Tab 4 7.0". Setup for each game is kind of a pain in the ass, but it works great once you get going. You need to use the free companion app called DosBox Manager so you can save the config settings for each game.

If you're limited to touch screen controls, the style of games you can play without being annoyed is going to be limited. MOO2, Master of Magic, Capitalism are about all I play because the controls translate fairly well.

Anything that runs in ScummVM works extremely well on Android.

Btw, it would be nice if some games here came also with their android versions.
(eg: Kingdom Rush)

It would be nice indeed, I got the Door Kickers humble version even though I own GOG for the android version offered there. I think GOG could offer it in extras with the game, but developers may not agree with that.

Maybe they could offer it as an optional "Android DLC", discounted for the owners of the PC version here.

Good idea. There are already quite some wishes for it. I added this idea to the comments of them.

And there are also already wishes for games running only on Android.
