tinyE: I'd just like to point out that I did not derep the OP, or for that matter, anyone else today. :P

That is all. Back to your drinks. :D

Lemon_Curry: The Village People look suits you.
Well it's like this: The Indian would have been racist, I don't know how to ride a motorcycle, and no one in their right mind is going to believe I was ever a cop or a soldier, so here I am.

Truth be told it was an accident. Someone made this avatar for me a few years ago when GOG was really really broken and everyone added construction helmets to their avatars.

Ah right, I remember that. Sachys started the craze with one of his giveaways:

Johnathanamz: Next is with No One Lives Forever, Activision and whoever else has the licenses and don't want to look at gog.com will possibly eventually go to everyone to find their licenses and put them all together.

drmike: We discussed this a few months ago but I can;t find the thread right off. The companies who think they have have a piece of it aren;t interested in licensing the game or trying to figure out who owns it.

I believe this is the article we were discussing at the time:

With the stock market value of $3 billion dollars (USD) that CD Projekt is now worth gog.com can now go to Activision and whoever else to look at the No one Lives Forever license to keep track of who owns it and all of that.

And no I know market value is not cash on hand, but it shows that CD Projekt has grown big and has a AAA video game development company CD Projekt RED to be taken seriously.
Wasn't the issue with the license is that no one wanted to spend the time, energy and money to dig through current/expired agreements?

Nightdive Studios certainly didn't want to take that gamble and possibly lose everything they'd put into it. I'd imagine CDP would feel the same way. Sure there are more lucrative projects out there without the pitfalls.

I remember those days. It sure is a good thing everything works so much better now!

Ah, our resident pro-GOG propaganda machine is at it again.

9/10 - Points lost for misspelling "Jonathan".
