Hey guys!

Due to scheduled maintenance, GOG.com is expected to be down for a short time tomorrow at 7am CEST (5am GMT / 1am EDT / tonight at 10pm PDT), and you may experience some difficulties as various features start going back online once the site itself will be back up.

Please bear with us, and please let us know in this thread or on Twitter (whichever channel feels easier or is available to you at the given time) if issues with various site features would persist for longer than 15-20 minutes after the scheduled maintenance time!

haydenaurion: After that stunt, I don't really know with you guys. I honestly half expected a staged hacking of the site for the System Shock 2 release after that. :P
Oh I wanted for that to happen so bad :D The scenario would have been as follows:

1. User goes to the main site:
2. Main site starts loading as normal and theeeeennnn
3. SHODAN takes over the screen
4. Insert some interesting voice clip for SHODAN

By the way, you should totally get the web devs to prepare exactly that in case you land the first game. Can't miss out on the opportunity twice.
Ehh, I think they have enough on their collective plate without me adding onto it :P

Luned: I'm female and I have no issue with this generalized form of address. Would you prefer "Howdy folks!"? Can't even say "Hello humans," there are forumites who'd take exception to being labeled as another species. ;) :P

Besides, IIRC Ciris admits to being a girl too.
If everyone here is a guy... Does that mean... Am I a guy...? I should probably tell the significant other ASAP...

But seriously, if it offends people that I call a group of users "guys" instead of "guys and gals", I can change my ways. Just let me know if it's an issue or a singular troll attempt! :)

Maintenance is over - it went pretty smoothly, without any impact on the website.

Just for the record it was touching only our servers infrastructure, there were no changes to the code of the application at this time.
