BTW if there's any one game that I can recommend from this sale, that would be Hammerwatch. I've been playing it on Steam and it is quite fun... and rewarding too, after you rack up tons of kills and collect lots of treasure. ;-)

I guess I can also recommend FlatOut... I have the DotEmu version and I've tried it, but I haven't really gotten into it that much yet. From what I've played, though, it's pretty good.

Got Rise of the Triad and Realms of the Haunting. I was tempted to get the Sid Meier games I still lack but I guess I was in the mood for games that begin with R.

Or "X of the Y" games. :)

I wasn't expecting to buy anything so soon after the Summer Sale madness but... I ended up getting FlatOut 1 & 2 from the Linux Promo and A New Beginning from the Weekend Promo. The first two were on my wishlist for some time, while the third was more a spur of the moment thing. I'm not expecting much given what I've read, but at such a discounted price I decided to give it a go.

I couldn't pass up Sword of the Samurai (even though it's from the Linux promo, not the official weekend promo :), I would have bought more if Sid Meier's Covert Action was on special too!

As for my haul.... uh, not really interested in anything from the official weekend promo, however as far as the Linux Promo goes, Sword of the Samurai is mildly tempting. I likely would have grabbed FlatOut and Hammerwatch if I didn't already have them on other services. :P
