It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi. Any idea how to contact support?

If I see that bloody chat thing again, I'm gonna blow a fuse...

Please. I am logged in to GOG but can not launch any game because.... guess why?

I am not logged in. Go figure...

Is it just me or is this company spiraling downwards?

Thanks, guys. Much appreciated.
Henlo.
Just go to installation folder and use the exe.
If you normally connect fine on galaxy but you currently can't, it's probably a NZ/Aus issue, seems to happen now and then for whatever reason.
From your description, you installed the game through the Galaxy client
and you are logged in the browser only, is it right?
Can you name a game, please?
Hello,

Starting GOG Galaxy without an Internet connection places it in offline mode, which doesn't prevent you from launching games. Something else is going on in your case. Could you attach a screenshot of the error message?

As for support, the chatbot is supposed to ask for your e-mail address after repeatedly failing to provide a solution. Another user on the forum has provided CSS you can use to reveal the contact form. If you've never applied a user style before, the easiest way is with a browser add-on like Stylus.

Bear in mind my support response time has been 5 weeks for the most part. My latest ticket was answered after 9 days and I counted myself lucky. Others on the forum haven't fared much better.
Hello.

Thanks for the responses.

Some answers - Game is Qwent. And it is not launching from the exe or the browser.

I think the original installation pre-dates Galaxy but I did open it in Galaxy. But since I am
but a lowly pest ridden, flea bitten Windows 7 user, Galaxy booted me out. But it
has been opening every day since as I grab the log in bonuses.

Can't get the screen snippet to resize but message says:

"User not signed in. To continue, start the GOG Galaxy client and sign in."

Like I said, it has been opening every day but now all of a sudden it starts this shize....

Oh, ps. Not sure how to apply the CSS. Are there instructions on Stylus?

Newest Galaxy 2.0 has some problems with installation on Win 7.
You need to use older version of Galaxy first and then update it to the newest one.

Try this: https://content-system.gog.com/open_link/download?path=/open/galaxy/client/setup_galaxy_1.2.67.58.exe

You said you couldn't launch any game. GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is online-only and cannot be played without GOG Galaxy, or with GOG Galaxy in offline mode.

Officially, GOG Galaxy -- and therefore Gwent -- require at least Windows 8. I'm not sure if support would help you. If the suggestion in the previous post doesn't solve the problem, have a look around the GOG Galaxy 2.0 forum. There were some threads there where people apparently got the latest version to work under Windows 7.

Marcius22: Oh, ps. Not sure how to apply the CSS. Are there instructions on Stylus?
1. After installing Stylus, click the toolbar icon, then the Manage button in the box that pops up.
2. In the pane on the left, check "as Usercss" then click the Write New Style button.
3. Copy the CSS from the aforementioned post.
4. At the top of the new user style, you have the metadata. As you can see from the screenshot, I gave the style a name and a description, set author to the poster's name and the namespace to his profile here on GOG. All of that is optional, but it helps keeps things organized.
5. The lower pane is the important part. Set URLs starting with: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/requests/new then below that replace /* Insert code here... */ with the CSS you copied to the clipboard.
6. Click the Save button in the pane on the left when finished. (I left everything else there at their default values)

When you visit the support page, you should see the Stylus icon gain a circled 1 pip meaning one user style is applied to that page. You can click the toolbar icon to disable the style if you need to for whatever reason.

I'd like to second the original observation. Gog used to have excellent support. I may not need answers in a hurry but the bot is the most useless thing I've ever seen. It asks name of game, I type in and it doesn't recognize it. I can copy paste the name right off the page I bought it from and it still does not recognize a game I literally just bought.

I'll point out the help page is now almost lacks answers to questions for those who DON'T use Gog Galaxy, but started our purchasing and installing games before the thing ever existed.

Lexor: You need to use older version of Galaxy first and then update it to the newest one.
Or alternatively, he could use Galaxy 1.2 and then manually delete its updating features, so that he can keep using Galaxy 1.2.

That's what I'd recommend, as Galaxy 1.2 is way better than Galaxy 2.0.

Is there some guide on how to find and delete them?

Keep Galaxy v1.2 client and avoid the forced v2.0 BETA update
