Strange_Hero: Any guesses as to when the Summer Sale will happen this year?
18 June.

Logic: So far, every major sale this year has begun exactly one day before the beginning of the same sale last year. Last year's summer sale began on 19 June.
nvm

i was wrong

mrkgnao: 18 June.
All current promos end on or before the 18th of June, so I concur.
This'll be the first major sale since the launch of GameSieve - exciting! :)

Hoping the sale starts off with a strong game release, in the vein of Doom 2016. (It's too soon for a Capcom fixed-up release, need some patience for those.) SEGA seems to me a good possibility, maybe Konami, though I'd really like the EA C&C prediction to come true:

I'd wager Sega is the best one for us to assume and speculate this year on a big sale or Big Advent period getting games from because a staff member themselves made a thread this year asking about games us users would like coming here heres a link to it https://www.gog.com/forum/general/which_sega_titles_would_you_like_to_see_on_gog_the_most/page1

Though Seeing as Konami is releasing a remake of a Metal Gear game this year I could also see them involved in a big sale or advent prior with some Metal gear solid game or games coming here if not arranging iether a relisting the same version or a different version of metal gear solid 2 that was delisted that we was told by gog back in 2021 would just be a temporary delisting yet its not shown up here sense heres the thread its stated on
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/metal_gear_solid_2_substance_delisting/page1

My reason on this Konami logic is if they release some Metal gear games before this new remake it could drive people to want this remake game or the like thats coming last I checked in August(not really interested in it so haven't checked for awhile) . But ya it'd be from a marketing standpoint make the most sense to release some older Metal gear games here before its full release to drive hype and interest to the newest installment as free marketing or whatever

Hopefully Freelancer will get released when the sale starts. I haven't lost hope yet :)

We also have World Oceans Day on June 8, too bad we missed it by only a week.
International Groundwater Day doesn't come until December 6.
World Wetlands Day was back on February 2.
When it comes to water protection, there's the International Day of Action for Rivers on March 14, or World Environment Day on June 5.
In terms of sustainable use, we’ve got World Fisheries Day on November 21.

So, the closest water-related date for the Summer Sale is: November 19, World Toilet Day!

That's some good encrypting lol
I agree with BanditKeith2 that SEGA and Konami seems like the most likely to release something major (hopefully). Summer sale would be a good payoff for the the special SEGA wish post. And Konamai have been very good dwith releasing titles on GOG lately.

Maybe Capcom will release one of their classics as well. It hasnt been that long since they released Dino Crisis, but we can always hope :)
All ongoing sales (6) will end within 23 hours.
