I think the Halloween sale starts this week. It wouldn't make sense to start it next week, after the event has come and gone.

If I'm not mistaken, historically, all sales have started before said events began: the summer sale starts (and sometimes even ends) before the actual summer, the winter sale starts before winter, etc.

Historically, Halloween sale happened only three times on GOG. :P

Yes, that was exactly my bet too! (:
This week we should start a traditional Black Friday Sale.
And it looks it is not going to be Monday, as in recent years it looked like this:
year - sale start-end (+Black Friday date)
2020 - Friday 27 Nov - 01 Dec (27 Nov)
2019 - Thursday 28 Nov - 3 Dec (29 Nov)
2018 - Wednesday 21-27 Nov (23 Nov)
2017 - Tuesday 21-29 Nov (24 Nov)
2016 - Tuesday 22-29 Nov (25 Nov)

I'm going to guess Friday Nov 26 to Monday Nov. 29 Friday/Monday Sale and Dec. 8 to Jan 3rd Winter Sale. With the issues around shipping physical goods this year (at least US/Canada) I'm guessing they will want an earlier and longer Winter Sale than usual.

I would have thought that US residents that wanted their GOG games in a timely fashion would pay for express shipping of their digital downloads.

More of a problem in other countries, where the download links are delayed until they clear customs.

No Midweek Sale...
