Elmofongo: Because its a N64 port.
No, it isn't. And even if it was, why would it be impossible?

Ditto. Lucas Arts made it freeware a while ago but I forget where and I don't know if it's still available.

I got a yodastories.zip (IDK if freeware or ..ehem... xD) which worked in 32 bit, but it too refuses to work on my current system. Might be worth investigating though. Thanks for the tip.
I think I already have it on Steam so not a priority for me but yeah, an amazing game indeed. IIRC it also managed to feel pretty dark and gritty despite being based on Toy Story (and by Toy Story I mean the prequel trilogy). I remember being very positively surprised by the game, I think back in the day it felt to me like "the better Halo".

I'm more hoping for Rogue Squadron and Shadows of the Empire, though, none of which are available on Steam yet AFAIK and both of which are *comparably* hard to get working (though it's probably possible if you try hard enough).
It sounds like there are 6 more Star Wars games coming on Thursday. If I were a betting person, I would guess:

Starfighter
Jedi Knight (and Mysteries of the Sith)
Jedi Outcast
Jedi Academy
Republic Commando
Star Wars: Empire at War

All of these are already on Steam and would be easy to bring to GoG. All but JK1 Republic Commando are also on the Mac App Store! The Steam version of JK1 is a mess and GoG can do better.

If I got to choose what I would like to see, it would be:

Rogue Squadron 3D
Shadows of the Empire
Episode 1 Racer
Rebel Assault 1 and 2
Star Wars Screen Entertainment and Star Wars Chess
Star Wars Arcade, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi -- inside some kind of better-than-MAME extras wrapper

Nothing from the second list has been seen since its original retail release. The fact that the first 3 were also on the N64 are irrelevant, as the Windows versions were completely separate products.

So no issue with Nintendo?

NOW BRING REPUBLIC COMMANDO AND DARK FORCES 2!!!!!

Also I am now nervous about the fate of the remaining point and click adventure games.

What will become of the Monkey Island Sequals and Full Throttle?

Nintendo has nothing to do with the PC version of the game, because LucasArts was the one who published it.

no its the pc version the n64 version was the port

unless you mean factor 5 they have been bankrupt since 2009 and were indipendent

so why would there be any issues with nintendo ?

2 and 3 however

Fuck it though. The game is here

I am just worried about the fate of Full Throttle and Monkey Island Sequals. And Dark Forces 2 and Republic Commando.
