tfishell: I haven't read all your posts here so you may have already mentioned this, but maybe you should simply buy it directly from the devs, assuming you avoid Steam. It will be GOG's lose.
I already have, but I would buy it again on GOG.

Yes, and the text on the Humble Widget says, "Pre-order Rex Rocket now! When it's ready get the game DRM-free for Windows and Mac." -- which implies that it's only for pre-order.

I think he just forgot to update it. Wouldn't make much sense to me, otherwise (what with the game being on Steam already).
