Cadaver747: GOG-Cafe, the unofficial GOG Discord channel has some GOG moderators from that very forum. As far as I know there are no members from GOG Curation Team.
No idea would go well since it requires some time and fund investment for implementation, that decision should be approved at the top. Only if every second GOG user will cry out loud that something must be done GOG authorities might reconsider.
#support channel you say? OK, I'll send them a link. This will help I'm certain.
This is the Wing of GOG, actually. Not Cafe.

What Wing? If it's another Discord Server please provide a link.
Not affiliated with GOG, that's what they've said before.

paladin181: This is the most baffling to me. GOG needs most of these developers more than the developers need GOG.

Darvond: I would even use the phrase "thunderingly moronic" to describe the current phrasing.
Good metaphor. :)

It does make me wonder just how many submissions Gog receives —— are there myriad unsolicited spam-like game curation requests that the front-facing team members must cut a swathe through every time they log on, perhaps? Or is it, as feared merely a very poorly worded unprofessional (to call it "emo" would not be out of line) response?

There is also an opportunity here to use the community. Properly organized, people could beta-test games for Gog (using a (set of) standard vanilla configuration(s) to make sure a prospective game was able to work) in teams of virtual testers. (This would require a lot of organization, though.)

A better question: What front facing team?

They seem to be too busy attempting to hire someone from the Cult of Agile rather than focusing on valid solutions like just using Kaban.
