Moonbeam: Bring back the Insomnia Promo :)
No thanks. I'd rather not have it be left up to the dice to dictate if I get a discount or not.

tammerwhisk: That's fine and dandy, but if you aren't someone on GOG daily a lot of times those sales are well underway by the time GOG's damn email system kicks out notifications.

I mean I get the community aspect being enjoyable, but outside of that it's kind of frustrating. Especially when GOG has one of the crappiest email notification systems I've seen.
The "GOG's email notification system sucks" is a more than fair point.
Perhaps make it a point/habit to check GOG once a day around the time of new releases and promos/sales? If possible, that is.

SickTeddyBear: Finally, someone gets how market economics works.

I liken GOG customers to Apple customers (of which I am both). Apple charges a premium for their design and integrated ecosystem, and they get away with it because they have just enough customers willing to pay the higher prices that it makes up for any lost customers who prefer the better pricing of PCs. Lin545: But Apple is totally pro-DRM and GOG is totally DRM-free. How does this combine? O_o
The point is that both are willing to pay a premium for what they want.

If you mean, how is it that I use GOG and Apple? I'm not an ideologue when it comes to tech.

I disabled the notification of wishlist games that go on sale. Found I would wishlist something, and then the next day get a notification the game was on sale (for 25%). I wishlisted the game in the middle of the sale, you'd think the software would be programmed to realize it should wait til the next sale, or have a setting of 'notify me when game is xx% off or $x or less' so I don't get spammed with useless messages.

Ideologue? Everyone is ideologue, when something with DRM stops to work, but its already unsupported.

Weird, but ok - thanks for explaination.
Yes, no more bundles! Please GOG, sell your games at full price again!
