Mm.. I've got nothing on trent, so I'm not sure if I'll jump on the lunch wagon or not.
Gogtrial based his suspects on previous games, but isn't he a bit *too* sure for D1?
But maybe it's just to convince others even if he's town.

Perhaps I could choose nmillar, since he isn't contributing too much anyway, which could be scummy or just a bad townie.

While this was true earlier in the game (which I acknowledged), I have been one of the highest contributors in the last 24 hours.

Yeah, meta reads are sucky to judge as a new player, but I'm as sure as you can be of anything on D1. It's absolutely possible for me to be wrong, but trent's reactions since I voted him have given me no reason to think I am.
Sorry for my lack of participation this game, I know I’ve played sub par so far.

gogtrial is convinced he’s caught scum, he’s wrong. The vibe I get from him is he 100% believes he’s caught scum, and the way he’s going about it just strengthens my Town read on him. Sadly I’m just a simple Town player, Ravenclaw will be disappointed in me.

Going to change my vote to Blotunga though, when he used the reading of me never having been a Day 1 lynch to get on my wagon it felt off.

gogtrial34987: So here's a quote from #55: Yep, that's from trent.

@Catte, @Joe, @Vitek: You were there. Reread trent's posts from there (#986) till his last (#1018). Tell me that isn't the same caught scum trent as we have now?
I see what you're going for... but why thisgame!Trent feel trapped at this stage?

Oh boy, I'd OMGUS you so bad, but already voting for you. I'm not sure what's off this time, but something is.

EDIT: I worded that badly. I can see why Trent might be starting to panic now, but you've been talking about Trent as "trapped scum" for a bit longer than that and I'm not sure why he should have felt trapped at that point. Your point about the "giving up" thing is sound though.

Actually the main reason for voting you is the seemingly lack of fight, which I don't feel as town at all.

I laid out my argument with my vote, in #274.

But summarizing/rewording: He town-read me. His explanation for why hinges on a difference between town!me and scum!me which I didn't exhibit at the point where he town!read me. When questioned about it, the best he could do was pointing out how what I did also wasn't like scum!me; but absence of proof isn't the same as proof of absence; in other words, my behaviour shouldn't have been enough to actually town-read me based on the argument he made. That's me catching him.

His reaction to my vote () was what first made me think of his behaviour as caught scum. His further reaction ([url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_mafia_69_he_he_the_uniwizard_tournament_second_edition/post305]#305) made me believe it.

I think your original reasoning for having caught him is a little shaky, so I'm not sure I agree with the "caught scum" analysis at that point. However his reaction since and the meta that goes along with that feel a lot stronger.
EBWOP for that last paragraph:

True, blotungas vote looks like tagging along with gogtrial's reasoning. But that doesn't invalidate gogtrial's point or the fact that your pre-emptive expectation that you'll be today's lynch looks off. Your OMGUS vote doesn't improve things. Neither does the fact that you don't reply to my question that I asked you. Twice.

I still think that dedo looks different from previous games. And I think that might be due to him being scum this time. Or it might be a devolution of his play-style.

You, however, look like a player who has given up. Town!trent doesn't have a reason to give up at this point. Neither does scum!trent, really. But scum!trent might have a reason for expecting or wanting to be lynched. I don't know. In any case you joined my list of lynchables together with dedo and nmillar.

To be honest I didn't see the questions. I have not been paying the proper amount of attention to the game, I try not to use RL but I've been sick and not overly energetic so my attention has waned. That is not a good excuse, but it is what it is.

To answer the question, I know my attention and posting has been lackluster and that is a recipe for being lynched. I would want want to lynch someone else doing the same thing so shouldn't expect anything less for me.

Also, I don't give up. I have already stated multiple times, I"m not scum. I have no way of proving it, we have no info to base anything on, all we can do is vote who seems the scummiest or is made to look the scummiest. I have obviously made myself look scummy when I gave gogtrial a Town read (I still say he is Town).

My read on most everyone is still Meh I don't know.

I suppose the inferred notion here is that, since between the two of us I'm the one who is normally rude to the other, the latter option can't be true, therefore it's the former? One can only wonder...
Help. i'm here but IRL interferes and I cannot stay. Why is everyone (esp gogtrial) focussing on trent and not on Joe?
What changed that Joe is no longer his top suspect?
