So this is probably one of the reasons trent wanted to stop the discussion: he knew blotunga's hypotheses and my analysis wasn't right.

Thinking about it more... did Joe reshuffle all of the scum only, leaving everyone else as is? That's not a bad idea except that, as RedFireGaming pointed out, if a Cop gets reshuffled into scum, then scum get the advantage of knowing there is a cop in play. In fact, this happens with a Complete and Total reshuffle too: all those new-scum who had town roles in the first shuffle know about the roles' existence.

My role didn't change, so either Joe did some hybrid reshuffle, or random.org has a sense of humour. I suspect the former.

What?? I am not scum nor have I been scum in this game. Are you trying to take someone down with you since you outed yourself. I have no doubt though if you were scum to start then you still are. This is a semi-open game, exact roles are not known, so If anyone was scum from the start they would have to still be scum unless Joe redid all the roles otherwise the game would be broken.

No, I simply hate role or PM discussions in game. It breaks them, and a broken game is not fun at all. I have no idea if blotunga is right in his analysis or not, but I don’t care either. I want to play the game as I always do, determine who is behaving scummy or erratically and lynch the ones I think are scum. Hopefully I’m right enough to win. Trying to determine who’s scum by roles or PM information is a game I want no part of. If that’s how this game is going to be I’ll walk away now.

I mean why else would it matter if someone said you were scum before being reshuffled?

Also I still think LOLchan is a bit more suspect by possibly allluding they were reassigned.

How do I know if he's lying? If he is lynched and found to be town then of course your claims he was lying will come under suspicion.

Woah ok. If trent was scum and got rerolled into town then there would be no reason for him to deny that. There's a possibility that he was scum and is still scum? Shit, I've got to go, but I think my vote is probably in the right place.

I just find it odd trent found it scummy that someone else said he USED to be scum, and is no more. I mean that would imply that other player wasn't calling him scum now, so why was trent suspicious of them?

This game is ridiculous as it is. First we start in a thread, post a couple posts there then abandoned ship to a new thread. Once there, we find out that dedo and Micro have dropped out, and it just so happens that one of them probably was scum (allegedly dedo according to agent), so we soon find out that it's very likely alignments were reshuffled but the roles were kept (unconfirmed), and then agent comes out and says he ousted himself in one of the first few posts, that he was switched (he doesn't say if town or neutral), and that his scumteam when he was scum was dedo and trent.

This game is amazing for all the wrong reasons. Above all, I'm not sure if I want to go for trent or for agent. Both look bad.

Why is that odd? If someone says you were scum earlier and you know you weren't, then you know they're lying. Townies don't lie, that's a golden rule.
Only one of them can be telling the truth, if we lynch one and they turn out town then we lynch the other. I'm in favour of lynching agentcarr first as if trent was and still is scum, he could very easily have agreed with agentcarr's story and claimed to be town now.

Could be that scummy trent remians scummy so he's trying to at least survive the Day. But honestly, this whole "I used to be scum along with Y and Z" thing is why I am in favor of truly restarting the game. Sending new PMs, making a new thread, the works.

A sound argument. I don't mind implementing it if we end up continuing the game.
