I've tried to catch up as much as I can, and I see not much has really changed. A lot has been said and the game has moved nowhere. I'm with bookwyrm, we need to vote so we can see where everyone's thoughts are at. Since my vote is missing I will stay with who I think is most likely scum.

dedoporno: How can you tell? I didn't like the sound of this line.
Joe's reasoning on flub's listing goes like this:

avatar
JoeSapphire: Flub can't be mafia because he was seemed convinced about GameRager and was confidently utterly wrong. (hmmm... questionable)
But his reasoning on me goes like this:

avatar
JoeSapphire: Pooka can't be mafia because we've all been assuming he's town all game?.. Why do I think pooka's town I forget?
So I was wondering how flub is higher in towniness than me, considering he has something on flub but nearly nothing on me at the time (as in literally nothing being used against me). So more or less it's "how is literally nothing worse something potentially questionable?"

----

By the way dedo, I see you think I could be possible scum along with Joe and Micro. But is there anything to support me being not possible scum along these two? Like, I'd love a list on what of my play is town and what of my play is scummy. The main reason why I wasn't on blotunga's wagon is that I believed scene to be the scummiest and at the same time I thought blotunga's play looked more town-like than scummy (at least in the context of how blotunga usually plays). I stuck with GameRager because his play felt like scum playing the safest role on the table, one that is shared among town and scum, but he didn't play it well enough to prevent a mislynch.

Right now, I'm still torn between voting for scene or Micro. Scene still has his strange as heck play, while Micro still worries me. Not sure what to think of Joe, I still find his ordering of players a bit weird to be honest.

Why is Flub your most likely Scum? What differences do you note in his Scum and Town games?
bump?
bump...?
avatar
supplementscene: The fact you 'haven't realised I was on Joe's wagon' and making a case for him makes me question whether you're not reading the game because you've figured everything out
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Should we lynch people that look like they aren't reading the thread?
Scene - ^^^ answer Bookwyrm's question ^^^

avatar
dedoporno: OK, this makes no sense. Why would this make me Townier than I was earlier? I guess It's supposed to make me feel better and yet it really doesn't. This is at least the second time where you give me Town credit for something I don't believe you should. I'm sorry if you are Town and genuinely feel this way but it just looks weird to me.
yeah sorry it wasn't supposed to make sense. There's no reason why I should trust your bookwyrm read, and yet I find that I do. Leap of faith?

avatar
JoeSapphire: Well I was all prepared to begin this day by voting without giving any other statement and then when asked to explain my vote just quote bookwyrm telling me blahblahblahblah and that the time for words has ended but if I did that in response to that Dawn then you'd all start thinking that I know more than I do about it.
avatar
gogtrial34987: Any thoughts on flub seemingly concluding the opposite of what you appear to be claiming here?
Yes, but I learned my lesson about expecting-the-things-flub-says-to-mean-something last game.

...

Hm. I've just thought it through a bit more it doesn't make sense. I thought flub might have got to 'one-shot' by using what he knows about the setup combined with the public knowledge (we have either T, TTT, or TTTTT; B; and at least another either R or D because of the failed kill last night - assuming mafia didn't decide not to kill, which is a fairly safe assumption.) Anyway I can't see a role that flub could have that would leave only one letter available for a one-shot whatever so BLAHBRAIN.

(So thinking about it, I guess if you have a power role and you didn't prevent the kill last night you should be hunting for two mafias and not a lone godfather) RXX means we can't have TTTTT.

I would support these wagons:
Trent
Flub
Microfish

I will not join these wagons:
Gogtrial
Pooka
Supplementscene
Joe

Come on let's goooooooooo!!!!

supplementscene: Why is Flub your most likely Scum? What differences do you note in his Scum and Town games?
My stance from here is still what I believe. Nothing has changed my view on them.

Bump requested and approved.
*Why would you NOT, Joe?

You can ISO me simply enough.

Focusing on a few posts should clarify my alignment. For example...

They are UNDEFINED

I would join Joe wagon because I can picture him going "I'm not going to vote for supplementscene and gogtrial because I don't see them as scummy" and his teammates going "Trentonlf! We have a town to destroy here!"

It just occurred to me if he and supplementscene were a team, his Day One stance on Supplementscene could be a straight-up bussing attempt and his subsequent Day Two turnaround is him realising that with SirP gone supplementscene's his only remaining ally...

hm.

it's a nice narrative that I just invented. not sure I buy into it that much.

(shall we refer to Joe as Trentonlf and Joe as JoeSapphire for the time being? to avoid confujion...)

avatar
PookaMustard: *Why would you NOT, Joe?
Oh. Well I'd rather lunch possible mafia.
avatar
flubbucket: JoeSapphire and dedoporno do NOT make me feel secure regarding their towniness.
I agree with that, and Pooka's my third in that category of "People that aren't feeling like town". Scene is in a special category of suspicion.

I can't shake the feeling that one of the 'old-guard' (survivors consist of Flub, Dedo, and Trent) are on the scum team. Joe might fall in that category, too, so one of the "less newbies", I guess. Problem is, I suspect that feeling mostly comes from the N1 kill; that kill doesn't feel like a newbie-team choice, but SPF has been around the block several times and could have been the driving force behind selecting Agent (and I'd bet it was a cross kill, where they literally killed each other). I don't know; something about SPF pushing for Agent to die doesn't feel right.

avatar
Bookwyrm627: Hey Dedo, we've talked a fair bit here on D2. I have a question for you.

Do you have a trap in mind?
avatar
gogtrial34987: Any intent to clarify this?
Let's walk through a scenario together, now that a/the Town RB is dead.

Pretend that we hadn't lynched GR D2, so we still don't know his alignment. He says he's going to block Scene (claimed vanilla). No kill occurs during the Night. What do you do? What do you think happened?

avatar
dedoporno: Obviously the scum can't even rely on night kills
Hm.

avatar
dedoporno: Something to note here (if Wyrm is to be trusted on this) is that him and Joe didn't exactly cross-vote and Joe's redundant hammer came later. This may or may not have been on purpose and to serve some purpose. I'm too tired to think about possibilities on how that would benefit scum!Joe.
My memory says it wasn't a strict cross post (like how I ninja'd ZFR on something, with both our posts saying "Posted Now"), but the time gap WAS short.

PookaMustard: So I was wondering how flub is higher in towniness than me, considering he has something on flub but nearly nothing on me at the time (as in literally nothing being used against me). So more or less it's "how is literally nothing worse something potentially questionable?"
If you are doing absolutely nothing memorable, then you aren't trying to solve the game. Townies should be trying to solve the game, so not-solving is a mark of scum.

To be fair:
1) Joe recalled something from D1 about me, so in a way, there is something memorable in there?
2) It's not easy to be "memorable" when you've got D1 and D2 being their own kind of special. Don't forget N1!

So far in the past two days, we've had events for us to talk about. There was me warning blotunga off scene's wagon early when dedo and micro didn't even have a chance to post. And staying off his wagon because I read him as the sign of a town blotunga.

GameRager felt like scum roleblocker getting desperate, and was on his wagon as I believed that, only for the flip to end up with him as town.

Right now, there's Micro and Scene that I'm concerned about. And I know which one to vote now. If I vote one, I bring him to L-2, and besides he hasn't been on for nearly 24 hours now. The other would be brought up to L-3, and was the one to worry me since D1 and continues to do so.

VOTE SUPPLEMENTSCENE.

I'm still not convinced you aren't scum, scene. Your play is still strange. I am actually wondering if you're playing on a WIFOM. "Scene is so bad right now, he must be town! But...he could be scum who knows some people would think that."

PookaMustard: ...................

I agree somewhat.

However I'm curious how you "know" which one to Vote.
