Here's some mood music for Night 4.

Funny thing, finding an electric guitar alone, without drums back-up, for that piece on you-tube was impossible for me. However, trying to find classical strings (quartet or otherwise) for that piece with only a percussion accompaniment was equally impossible. (plenty of keyboards/piano for both, obviously).

Also, party on, dudes, and be excellent to each other.

Just so we are clear, trent follows me this night or one of the cops? Because if he follows me, then we can be sure one of the cops will be kaput by the beginning of the day, or at least this is what I see as the most likely scenario.

We don't.
Trent can either watch you so we make sure there are no redirect shenanigans, or he can watch one of the cops. If there are redirects in play, then you are the likely target so you can't tell us if the cops did investigate who they think they did. If there are no redirects at play, then the only reason you may be targeted is WIFOM, and a cop seems like a better target.

It's up to trent to decide who to watch, and why.

It is a toss up on who I watch, but I am leaning more toward watching a cop. It is possible that there is a redirective role, but I think it's more likely there is not.

Forgive the perhaps naive question, but why do you want to broadcast the exact course of actions we're taking tonight? I'd think that we don't want to make things easier for any anti-town players.

I thought that it was perhaps to help catch a Scum player who went to kill a cop. Or to put them off going for a cop tonight and picking one of the other Town players who have less important role. I could be wrong, as you know, there are several problems with broadcasting their plans. But I guess if both cops try to investigate Sage, then at least we find out her loyalty at the cost of a cop, and if she is Town, she also has an investigation role. As for trent and HijacK broadcasting their plans, I'm not too sure why it's so public. Maybe so they can work together and better help cover the cops, if they are both Town, of course.

Yay! Laptop is finally back and so am I.

OK, then. No lynch. Fopefully JMich's plan is better than it looks to me and this is the right course to take.

I, too, believe that this should be kept a secret to not give the scum information they can work with. It's either all a secret (looks like the better approach) or it's all out in the open so we may align our actions and pursue the smallest deviation afterwards (too much unnecessary risk).

I was actually trying to deter people from discussing their plans in the open.

First we had CSVPG inviting yogsloth to openly discuss a collaborative course of action, now we have HijacK trying to initiate a discussion on his and trentonlf's actions.

Do I really have to remind us of what happened when yogsloth announced that he'd investigate CSPVG? How that went down for two nights in a row?

I think of people in this game to be intelligent - yes, those that for the longest of time carried the innocent and naive persona included.

You see, I'm in two minds about this comment. Once the game is over and you see who we all were, then both you and JMich will be proven wrong, your theories about people not being fallible will be disproven. But on the other hand it will highlight just how silly my mistake was.


On a game related note: I will not be using my power again tonight. If we have any redirection during the night, then that means we have another redirection role in the game. I know that only Yogs seems to believe I'm Town, so I know many won't believe me, but there is nothing I can do about that.

Alright people! So here's what I'm doing tonight. Yes, I am broadcasting my plans.

No more eating. I need to lose weight and look good. I'm trying to impress a girl here and chase her. No, it's not as easy as they make it out to be in movies. Then the next step is to finish homework and have a clear head. School is in full motion and this weekend will be busy as hell. Then I'm going to study for my driving license. Then mom will buy me a cheap car, it's better than walking. Then I'll need to apply for some scholarships because screw the tuition fees of this country.

Alright! Did you catch up on all of that? Good! Hopefully scum won't be able to come up with a too comprehensive plan. :P

Sounds like a good plan Hijack with the exception of no more eating. You need to keep up your strength so you can chase after the girl =)
