Although it's a day late, I like to wish everyone happy holidays. I also apologise for not having posted in sometime, but have been busy doing Christmas-related things. I hope you are all well, and promise that normal services (no matter how infrequent they may be) will start up again shortly.

I have had a kitten emergency Christmas eve that ended with Gizmo being in the emergency animal hospital until this morning and I just got back from my regular Vet with him. It is a watch and see how he does now. He is doing a lot better but he still has to eat and drink on his own and his fever has to go away. From lack of sleep and stress my head is not clear right now so I will be trying to get back into the game and read anything I missed later tonight or tomorrow. Though if his fever does not go away by the morning I am to take him back to be admitted. Fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that. Hope he is ok. We've had a lot of trouble with one of our cats so I know how it is. The game is still quite so hopefully you won't miss anything.

Inactivity post. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves, hope Sage's kitten will be better, and waiting for the hangovers to pass so we can continue playing, before the next hangover hits.

Exactly my impression. That's why I suspect CSPVG more of being scum than I suspect Yog. Even though CSPVG gave me a town reading, he still might be scum trying to confuse things.

Since there are roles that can kill you, when you visit them. The ability to kill someone defensively does not make you town automatically. Especially not in a game like this.
I wonder why you defend Robb so much. You attack everyone that doubts Robb's claim. Why? Are you allied to him in some other way and are just trying to help your scum-buddy? Somehow I don't think you would go for such a blunt play, so why are you so sure that he is town?

And, even if I don't like your unquestioning defense of Robb, you actually rise a good question to HijacK:
Well, who was the other scum that you thought you knew, Hijack, and why? I think the explanation to that question would really help.

I understood that what he meant was that he thought Robb was scum, and someone else had killed Twilight (as he said flub mentioned he'd made a good choice or something to that effect). I'm not sure whether he believed the two events were connected, or if he was just guessing based on flubs words and the after effects of the night.

Or I may have completely misunderstood the situation.

Anyway, I might need to have a bit of a reread of what's gone on to get me back into the game after Christmas and I will put forth my thoughts then.

Ok, I've done a bit of a skim reread to refresh my memory of what's going on and here is where I'm currently at:

For those who have claimed or revealed results, right now I tend to believe them. While there are many scenarios I can see for why yogs, CSPVG and Robb could all be scum (individually, not collectively, although I suppose that's an option too) right now I don't really believe any of them. I don't have a huge amount of experience at this game, but from what I've seen so far scum only claim under pressure. Claiming often leads to others claiming, which can lead to mass claiming which is hardly ever good for scum. I can't see any scum taking the risk to (false) claim this early in the game under no pressure what so ever.

Leaning Town:

JMich, while I disliked his lurking before he has now been more active and I like his posts. But he is the least townie one on that list. Hyper has generally been posting lots and getting involved, and strikes me as by and large acting more town than scum. If he is scum, he is hiding it very well (but I'm not discounting the possibility, reminds me a bit of mrkgnao and that's why he's only leaning town)

Lift is only on this list instead of scum because of CSPVGs read. Dedo, trent and Sage have all seemed just a little off to me this game, as if they are not quite engaged. Not sure about any of them yet, but no major suspicions to base a lynch on.

Leaning Scum:
Ixamyakxim
ddickinson
cristigale

ddickinson can only be given so much benefit of the doubt. She has made so many posts that have been just a little off, and covered it up with excuses of being new etc. She is my prime candidate for a lynch (this will be reflected by a vote, at the end of this post).
Ixamyakxim has been lurking quite a bit, and has given me bad vibes since the start of Day 1 when he jumped on me for apparently role fishing (when I really did no such thing). Hasn't done anything since to lift those suspicions.
cristigale is the least scummy of the three, but her lurkiness isn't sitting well despite some reasonable posts. It feels like she pops up every now and again with a post just interesting enough to keep her from being seen as scum. Also while she is a newbie, in her post in the sign up she did suggest she had played the real life version of the game, so is probably not as green as other newbies are/have been.

So, with all that said, I think all that's left is to re place my vote:
