gamebin: Lords of the Realm Royal Edition - LOTR1 is the floppy disk version. From what I remember, I believe the CD-ROM version has cinematics and redbook audio.
The CD version also has the choice of game map between Germany and England.
Edited. I'm caught up with items on this thread and few misc ones, but I'm sure we are missing quite a few things.

For real? That'd be neat to have. I own the GOG version but it's the only version I've ever owned, so this is news to me.

Noone said game audio is bad, only that soundtrack is broken - tracks are cut before their end or start in the wrong moment - and this was fixed.

ah, ok then. I was referring to the soundtrack, as it was said "CD audio rips are bad" which I understood as soundtrack (CD audio), contrary to in game music.

Not fantastically important, but GOG only has the US localised version of RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe and not the original UK version (Chris Sawyer is Scottish). Should go under version variations I suppose.

What is different about it?

Names and things. It's less that it's important and more that they don't have the original version. I feel it ought to be mentioned somewhere.
fixed:

Dragonsphere - Copy protection paperwork missing and replaced by TXT file.
Alone in the Dark 1-3 - Missing some misc items: newspapers (click for thread) and playing cards (still missing). [AFAIK only Alone in the Dark 2 had playing cards, not sure what means 'still missing']
Soldiers: Heroes of WW2

There's a corrupted file (Station_House.jpg) in the artwork zip.
Edited with today's removed games and some misc items.

That's strange, I tried again and it works on MS Paint, but for some reason this file can't be properly read on Photoshop or Windows Viewer.
