gamebin: Disciples II - Rise of the Elves Gold - The previously mentioned "expansion" has its own Gold Edition that adds a new campaign and 14 more skirmish maps.
mmm ,, sorry; but that not very true :

check here (unless the wiki is wrong ;) )

Rise of the Elves Gold adds 4 missions , not 14 :D

still i totally agree GOG should adds this little extra missions :) if it's possible of course.

the GOG version refers to the 2005 version of the game (game card 's release date matches with the wiki). Rise of the Elves Gold was released in 2006. So GOG have a complete version , but not the latest.

Th3R3n3gad3: Rise of the Triad 2013 is not updated to current version, all multiplayer servers are steam version.
That's because the devs have only released a Steam patch so far. Supposedly, they are working on the DRM free one.
Lords of Magic is missing audio files. More info here:

Red Baron (the Windows game in the package, not the DOS one) doesn't even start for me, it crashes instantly. I know it isn't officially listed as Windows 7 compatible but is this a known problem?
I don't think this thread is being maintained anymore, anyone want to copy/paste and take it on?

Personally I found that Messiah didn't work for me until I tried nGlide but the 3DFX .exe wasn't included in GOGs directory so I had to hunt that down too
Other GOGs use nGlide (Tomb Raider for one, I believe) so I think GOG should take another look at it
My mind could be playing tricks on me, but yesterday the catalogue had 595 games, and today we're down to 591. What was removed?

Nothing, DLC is now included within the game page for the respective games, rather than having their own pages.

Probably, I will update this weekend. I have been recovering from major surgery, but I am still around. :-)

EDIT: I just updated the list. Now, back to my slumber...

So, you're saying that Disciples II expansion already includes 10/14 Skirmish maps and Dark Elves only includes 4 more?

Full update made to the list.
i quote the wiki :

"Disciples II: Rise of the Elves Gold 2006 A rerelease of Rise of the Elves with an additional 4 mission mini campaign that continues the story"

can't be more clear :p.

i don't know the number of maps for rises of the elves in the gold version of disciples 2 (the one on GOG) , but according to this, the added maps ain't not 14 for the rerelease of rise of the elves

I just pulled the 14 maps from their own site and STEAM, so I just went with that number. Updated. :-)

ok , i see know why you mention 14 :)

my guess is the disciples 2 gallean's return + disciples 2 rises of the elves = all content, on steam. (release date is 2006), maybe the extra 5 maps from the collector's edition are missing (but no clue)

that's really a mess...between release :/

OK good to see you back, this list is interesting and a useful resource when you come to a new game, hope you're feeling better

Did you not think my report about Messiah was worth including though? It would be nice if GOG added the 3dFX exe to their version at least, to give people the choice, if not actually including nGlide as an option or the only way its set up out of the box...

*edit* wait, maybe I'm not explaining this very well, thinking about it - Messiah is one of those games, that instead of allowing you to chose your renderer from a menu, has 2 different executable files to run the game - Messiah.exe and Messiah3dfx.exe I think the 3DFx one was added later in a patch, the GOG version is patched to that version but the Messiah3DFX.exe file is missing

Thank you for the concern. :-)

Maybe, the Messiah3DFX doesn't work? Or, in the initial post, you are saying it DOES work, but you had to find it on your own? And no, I did not include it because your point was unclear.
