Epic releases, GOG! Instabought all the Tomb Raiders, I had been patiently awaiting their arrival! Huge thank you to all involved!!
If I understand correctly, the "Coming soon" titles, that are released somewhere else already, will be made available during the event till September 2nd?
Why did those older Tomb Rider games like Anniversary took so long to become available here?

Glad to see Psychonauts 2 here, I was worried about it being a Steam exclusive.
Huge thank you to everybody involved in getting he rest of the Tomb Raider games here! <3 <3 <3

Instabuy, all of them, as of right now!

Looking forward to last 2 titles of the reboot to end up here as well ;)
It's so cool that Psychonauts 2 is coming to GOG.
Good decision, Microsoft!
Thank you so much!!!
That Project Warlock II demo is very dope. Now I really can't wait for the full release next year.

phaolo: Cool Tomb Raider gog releases with great prices.
But I wonder a bit if i really need all 3 of Legend, Anniversary and Underworld..

bluethief: They're considered a trilogy. You can play Legend and Anniversary on their own, but Underworld is a direct sequel to Legend that also has story elements that you only understand if you play Anniversary.
Thank you. I guess I'll get them, since they cost so little.

bluethief: Unfortunately, those 2 still have denuvo. Maybe only when the license of it expires can we expect them to be released here. How long will it be? That we don't know. IMO, "coming months" is being very optimistic. Maybe next year, al least for Rise of the Tomb Raider, is a safer bet.
I believe Denuvo is a DRM middleware used in the retail build of games and as such, it's just a tool to produce them that can be replaced/eliminated when needed. Though I'm a dev, I have never developed AAA games so I might be off in my reasoning. Could you explain to me how Square has licensed the game to Denuvo thus precluding it from releasing the game without it?

Beware that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a title that was published in 2016 and also used Denuvo but this didn't stop it from appearing here on GOG (something I'm very thankful to them for).

Nice to see Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary & Underworld but also releasing Tomb Raider 2013 GOTY is downright spectacular!! Thanks GOG!!!!! :)
The most pleasant surprise for me is the arrival Quake 2 RTX. I played it on Steam and it was possible to import all of the data from the GOG version of Quake 2, but the DRM-free edition is what we really like. You can archive the installer in case someone decides to remove the game from the store. You never know in case of this kind of games.

As for the remaster, it's marvelous! It's probably the only game that supports full path tracing in real time. The lighting in this game will blow you away. It's not to be seen in any other title. Screens don't properly reflect the reality. You have to see this by yourself! The only problem are outdated models and character animations, but we can't have everything, can we? :)

Hooray! Tomb Raider Anniversary, my favorite of the franchise is finally here! :) Though TR '13 ain't shabby either. ;)

It's interesting to see them release Psychonauts 2 here. That means there's still a chance for future Bethesda releases and games from other studios now owned by MS.

Never thought to see Subverse here. Curious.

feco91: Okay. Which Tomb Raider game is the best? Is there one here that's not worth it even with a discount?
That's all very subjective. My personal favorite is Anniversary, which is a very well done remake of the first game.

mechmouse: TR(2013) is 8 years old now.
Dare we call it a good old game? ;)

SCPM: Now that Xbox Games is finally publishing on GOG, here’s hoping we’ll see the likes of Ori 2, State of Decay, and Fable. :)

Great that Anniversary / Legend / Underworld are finally on GOG. Overdue imo

Just finished another playthrough of Tomb Raider 2013 on Steam. Still a great game. More than happy to add it to my GOG collection.

Big thanks to Square Enix. First Thief and Sleeping Dogs, and now some more Tomb Raider. It'd be great to see some Just Cause games on GOG too. Just saying... ;)

I don't know the details, but I imagine that Square signed a contract with Denuvo to have their technology implemented within the titles. So until the contract expires, they cannot remove denuvo from the games, thus impeding their release on GOG.

Yes, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided had devuvo when it first released on Steam. However, it was later removed (contract expired?), and that's why it got released on GOG.
Next week : Skyrim ? :p
