I don't usually do such topics unless there was a rare good old game dead that i remembered all of a sudden , So i was browsing the steam store on my phone and was shocked to see that , One of my favorite game based on my favorite hero was revived on steam.

Developer: Enlight Software
Publisher: Retroism
Release Date: 7 Feb, 2004

Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc

Just love the intro of this game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7rIVa0m0sg

Granted its not a extremely popular or well reviewed game but its among the few games apart from age of empires 2 that is based on the legendary joan of arc.

The game is pretty unique in the way that it combines both hack/slash 3rd person rpg style + rts elements , These don't usually work out very well but this being the story on the awesome joan of arc it works very well, enough that you will want to play the game all the way to the end.

My only gripe with this game is that while the story in age of empires 2 about joan of arc is accurate , here its not fully accurate in this game sadly.

But the setting and the chance to fight alongside joan of arc is truly awesome.

I certainly think this game should be on GOG, It is simply awesome.

Sadly my crappy phone cant seem create a vote entry for this game on the community wishlist if anyone can put this game in there i would be very grateful. Do spread the good word for this game to release on gog

Apologies for the mistakes in the post hate touch screen phone typing.

Kindly Vote here

I loved that game, got it at a grocery store :P Although the disc had a faulty .exe on it, When I tried to start it, it gave me a "wrong cd inserted" message so I had to get a no-cd crack to play that game. . Fun though I never got very far, my computer wasn't powerfull enough at the time.

Oh. Yeah. I remember that game. I tried it but for some reason I don't remember what happened. I think it was because the game is too heavy for my PC at that time -so I uninstalled it.

For the wishlist entry... Well there are 2 already :

Yeah, I liked this one quite a bit, it reminded me of the Dynasty Warriors games. I already bought it direct from Enlight, but DotEmu has it much cheaper. Voted for it some time ago already. :-)
Just for info: anyone who wants this DRM-free and doesn't mind getting it elsewhere can always pick it up from DotEmu for €4:

How much scope this game has? Is there many many levels?

HI, as far i remember there were 7 missions and one finale , by scope do you mean the depth ? i felt the game is mixture of rpg + rts as in one moment you are fighting with a group in proper rpg style , in the later part you have to command armies in rts mode. Its not too hard but the setting and music was so inspiring that you will get through the game in a short time.

By scope, I tried to mean how much does it cover the life or battles of Joan of Arc. Does it contain all the historic journeys of Joan ?

yes it covers most of them but the story is not accurate , they took their own liberties, if you want a more accurate one , there is a joan of arch campaign in age of empires 2 , i was kinda disappointed in how they changed the story in this game but everything else takes you well on the path joan took , right down to the streets.

here is a old trailer

Thanks!
Since Retroism publish game on GOG, it might also be helpful to ask the companies behind it, Tommo and Night Dive, about the possibility of the game getting a GOG release.
I played this game and finished it but since i played the game from bravo screenfun it didn't have voices as it should.
Pretty nice game though

Looks like it's no longer on dotemu.

Is on Green Man though. Of course that just gives you a Steam key:
