Does GOG Galaxy use the "edgecast"?
When I click install, it display "Game not supported",then nothing happened.
What game? Not all games are currently supported by Galaxy.
Broken Sword 5、FEAR 2、
I have the same problem. I cant use the GoG downlaoder or GoG galaxy! always tells me the game is not supported!
I also can confirm this issue.

Since the end of 2014 edgecastcdn.net (used by the GOG downloader and GOG Galaxy) is blocked in China by the glorious Great Firewall.

Download only works from the website directly since the URL for the download links is something like http://cdn.gog.com/... which is NOT blocked in China.

I really hope GOG will keep the option to download games from the website after Galaxy is released.
Same for me. I am trying to preload The Witcher 3 and it just seems impossible!
I have the same problem.
I download The Witcher 2 from website, it shows 404 not found.
Me too. i just recently brought witcher 3 with me and i was so eager to play it, but due to me not being able to download the 1.02 patch i can´t play at all.......

I think you should be able to download patch directly from site not using galaxy.

Strange is "game not supported". Could you send a photo shot of how it looks?

I don't think GOG will ever remove the option of downloading games directly . They said the client will always be optional, and without direct download, it would be de-facto mandatory

Trying to download it via CDN was the really next thing i did try and it just won´t work. I already asked the support staff to look into this matter. I`ll just wait for their reply. In the meanwhile.....Ist there any way to get my hands on the free dlcs recently published and the patches (ENG) 1.02 & 1.03. After 2 days i finally considered to buy a retail version (yeah, to be honest i pirated it at first, but was amazed by the content and the love to the detail that i just bought it :D ) and now i´m really frustrated because i´m not able to launch it......

Couldn´t GOG just start a new server for the asia area or would there be any problems in doing that, like law-infringement or sth like that ?

Same issue Regarding the Witcher 3. I am also living in China.
-"Game not supported" on the GOG Galaxy.
-When I Try to download files directly from the website either: Blocked if I don't use a VPN client, VPN not stable enough to get the 4GB Files.

I send a inquirie to Support but no answers yet.
If you had any way to get around that, I'll be very interested...

Bumping this too in the futile hope that gog will bother to fix this.
