Sude: Galaxy API has issues when trying to get download link using the "downlink" url from product details json.

I'll use Jotun Valhalla Edition as an example because I tested this with the official GOG Galaxy client but the issue is wide spread and affects multiple games

Product details json: https://api.gog.com/products/1458127099?expand=downloads,expanded_dlcs,description,screenshots,videos,related_products,changelog

Trying to get the download url by using the provided "downlink" from product details json for the first part of windows installer ( http://api.gog.com/products/1458127099/downlink/installer/en1installer0 ) results in 404 error.

This causes the backup feature of the official GOG Galaxy client to fail due to "server error" and causes issues for lgogdownloader.
Oh, that's why. I was unable to download the backup files for Machinarium via Galaxy and got a "Server Error". First I thought there is a problem with my connection, but obviously Galaxy is broken.
I just noticed all of my games previously downloaded (from classic installers) that have both installer versions (galaxy and classic), including all the recent ones, have resetted their settings to galaxy installers, which are now the default. I noticed when i was going to download a patch, but it was for the galaxy version instead. Also, even if i change again the setting to "classic", when i re-enter the game is again set to "galaxy" installers. Weird.

Has any one noticed also about this? Maybe it is a bug with the web's interface or some recent update?

The website does not store your preference for galaxy or classic installers. Adalia's Fundamentals script adds set option, and it stores the setting locally, so change computer (or browser) means you don't have access to said saved settings.
hi, new to gog and just wanna try gwent out.
but the dowload is <1MB/s, thats not acceptable.
it was 10 years ago maybe but its just slow.

I thought it was the website. Anyway, i have Adalia installed and i just checked for it, it's active and updated. Also, i have not changed my computer. I will try to uninstall and install again the scripts, it must be something on my part. Never happened before, though.

Thank you!
CLOUD SAVES dont work? i cant sync whit cloud saves.
GOG is slowly slipping into the abyss - everything's been getting progressively worse over the last year. So sad.
EDIT: NVM, please delete this post!

Do you have actual arguments to sustain your thesis? Or is it just another emotional doomsayer comment?

Why say the same thing twice?
Cloud saves works fine, the problem its my saves, 1.4GB, delete old saves, and work again. Thks Johny for the help.
Will you guys fix that "Server error" anytime soon? Currently it is impossible to download the backup installers via GOG Galaxy.

Always curious how you guys manage to break things which have always worked in the past.

My hours played in Gwent do not get added up. I've been stuck at a certain number of hours and every time I play it doesn't add up. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I use a deck tracker (GwentUp)? If I recall correctly last patch I wasn't having this issue. Anyone knows of any fix to this?

Thank you.
