2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

GOG Galaxy has been broken for me on OSX (10.12.4/10.12.5) since the last update or two of Galaxy (1.2.9.x). The installer somehow complains there's some missing dependencies or something and the installer asks me to reinstall, and I've tried a wipe of all the GOG content, an over the top re-install and a few other things, re-downloaded the installer package a dozen times, but no dice. Galaxy just never boots/quits instantly even after the install is supposedly complete.
Seriously. What's up with all this tracking?

Those are all probably because of the fact that the Galaxy client is little more than a web browser with added functionality. So everything the website is using will also be used by the client itself as long as it is just displaying the same pages/content.
Fallout 3 is listed as having overlay support, doesn't work however for me. Overlay is on of course under client as well as game settings.

EDIT: Add Fallout New Vegas too.

Hi guys. Realy enjoy the game but have some trubles. (sorry for bad english)
So when i start i realy enjoy the necromansers and to buy more cards i destroy all other card with all commanders. And now im in bad situation cause i cant play any other race. Ye, it was my choice but maybe its not a good idea let players destroy the captains? Gold cart u can craft and use universle like Gerald and its ok, silver to has neutral card, bronse easy to craft, but captains u cant use like that and now i have realy poorly expirience of the game, whant to try new stuff and cant at all.
Hey,

I wanted to edit the Galaxy launcher config (goggame-*.info) for FNV to keep my game time tracked with NVSE.

But then I stumbled on: "runAsAdmin": true

Can you explain what exactly this does?

I can confirm that the default FNV launcher (for which runAsAdmin is true) does run as my unprivileged user. But there seems to appear a new GalaxyClientService.exe which runs as SYSTEM.

Can you please elaborate why this process needs administrator privileges while all other Galaxy service are run as my unprivileged user?

You might have better luck asking at the Gwent forums:

Is it normal that Galaxy doesn't show notification badges for forum replies near the avatar?
The website doesn't show it either.

At the moment GOG Downloader seems to show notifications for unread replies. Strange.

It use to, when GOG removed it from the site it also got removed from Galaxy.

That cleared it. Thanks!

This is totally unacceptable, using Galaxy as a front to allow in Google's spyware. Uninstalling and back to boycotting any purchases from GOG.

Again, as AlexRavenheart said, this is only happening because Galaxy is a browser and it is browsing GOG's site. I perfectly understand if you don't want to use GOG because of its use of tracking software, but please be aware that these are tracking programs that GOG.com itself runs, not Galaxy, and has been running for years and years now, if not the entire time GOG.com has been in operation.

If you're relying on something like Ghostery or NoScript to protect yourself from tracking scripts, fantastic, but be aware that that only protects you on your current browser. It only stands to reason that an entirely separate browser that don't have your script blocker (like Galaxy) won't be blocking the scripts.

Google tag manager and google analytics calls are done by gog.com website to gather statistics - you can block them - in the website code we detect that you're blocking it and respect that (nothing will break).

Other google things may be parts of YouTube videos and re-captcha for logging in and redeem page.

You could enable connections to presence.gog.com to make yourself "online" for other users and to see their status (yes, we're thinking about new privacy options).

"CDN" ones are there for us to make game downloads quicker for everybody. Blocking them may break something.

Do you have questions about any other domains?

Thanks for the clarification. I like to see GOG as a pioneer for consumer-friendliness, and I understand that being in that position makes things more rigid. It is not my intention to put you in a bad light, but I would like to stress that with the recent emergence of web-apps, and increasingly privacy-invading systems, I am worried about GOG not having an option to completely disable tracking. By completely, I also mean completely removing trackers such as Twitter buttons (Clearly I also showed the client connects to Twitter). I understand that some users may want to connect their GOG profile to external services, but I would like there to be an option to disable these systems completely for users who do not wish to be tracked. Since you have a client I believe you should be able to do this client-side without using cookies.

Also, while I am able to block the communication with an application firewall on Mac Os, this is slightly more challenging on systems like Windows where networking works differently.

Furthermore, while analytics is mainly for your own purposes, is it limited to you only, or does Google use it for other means as well?

Thanks for the rapid response.

Edit: I meant twitter.
