1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

So, if i have a whole boatload of games installed via offline installers, and i install GG 1.0, it will pick those up automatically?.
Will GG attempt to update those games by default?. If so, is there a function to set GG to by default not to do that? (i tend to download offline installers to different areas of my hard drives etc)

You'll have to have Galaxy scan the folder(s) where your games are kept in order for Galaxy to pick them up, but I believe this doesn't work for pre-Galaxy installers. If you keep them all in one folder, you can just select that folder and Galaxy will scan ever sub-folder inside for Galaxy games.
Galaxy will attempt to auto-update them, but there is a global Auto-update games toggle in Settings that you can un-tick.
Hey,

we have released an update to Beta updates channel (which can be enabled in GOG Galaxy's settings).
It brings multiple changes which we would like to check on bigger audience, yet maybe not everyone.
Those changes are:
- We have updated Chromium Embedded Framework, which is an engine for our application. We would like to verify this did not cause any rendering issues, opening links wrongly etc.
- We have introduced changes to the update process, so that showing UAC popup is no longer required and the updates will no longer be downloaded on the start of the application.

As always, if you encounter any issues with this update, please report it on https://mantis.gog.com
Sometimes, the games do not run correctly, in the task manager the processes of the games are shown but not started.
Am I going crazy?! Using Galaxy 1.2.59. and suddenly, I no longer can view my very own profile page!!

Normally, I could access "Activity Feed" or "Your Profile" by activating the drop-down menu beneath my username. These options have disappeared from the menu entirely! All I can see now is:

Orders
Wishlist
Account Management
Chat
Forum Replies
Your Wallet
Sign Out

Using a browser still works. But the menu in Galaxy 1.2.59 is suddenly broken for me. :(
Not sure if GOG staff made the necessary correction to Galaxy 1.2.59 or if it was just a temporary glitch, but the problem seems to have corrected itself somehow.

"Activity Feed" and "Your Profile" are visible again in the drop-down menu beneath my username. :)
Hi,
We have found an issue with GalaxyClient updater flow within 1.2.60 Beta version. In order not to spread this issue further, we are temporarily blocking updating to this version.
Please note, that:
* this might affect only small number of users
* the issue is only related to GalaxyClient update procedure - it does not cause any other issues within the client.
We will let you know, as soon as a fixed version is available.

What if I have already updated to 1.2.60 BETA? Can I use it without any worries?

Yes,

it should not effect how 1.2.60 works.
I've noticed that my downloads through Galaxy slow to a crawl randomly or, unfailingly, shortly before completing the download. Pausing & resuming the download remedies this issue. Anybody else experiencing this?

interesse: gog galaxy sucks if you are not on your admin account! every update wants me to insert my PW 10 thousand times...
This is very annoying and major UX flaw. The other day it happend that I had to type in 5 times my windows credentials after I chose to install a game via GOG GALAXY.

I even disabled auto-update for some games as my computer became almost unusable.

There should be one password pop up after I click install, to authorize gog galaxy to perfom the install and max. one popup for all queued updates together.
Is it possible to change the game's target link in Galaxy? I want to target a .bat file specifically for a mod.

Edit: I figured it out, it was a simple edit of the hidden "goggame-##########.info" files.

All I want to do is play GWENT.

All week long I have been going through various docs, videos, etc to no avail.

The installer just hangs at the visual c++ redistributable install.

I am on Win8.1. It is a fresh install. I've actually wiped and redone everything twice cause nothing else is installed on this box. I have done all the updates and checked the time and time zone.

This is ridiculous. A week to try and play one game.

Why can't I just install Galaxy alone and then manually install whatever else is needed separately?]

Why can't I just install GWENT by itself?

What must I do to get this running?

Please help me.
