Johny.: We'd be thankful if you'd post a bug report. :) Thank you.
Done, someone alreadyd did (Id 5015), so I added the info to that report :)
For some reason the autoupdater has been triggering false positives all over the place in Sophos Anti-Virus. Anyone else also getting this?

I've been putting exceptions everywhere I can find GOG and the client, and updating's still halted every time.

Am I missing something or is the FPS counter only viewable when you Shift Tab? If so then that is absolutely useless.

Poddy30: Experiencing exactly the same problem as Nebelchen123. Witcher 3 just maxes out the Ram and network bandwith and doesn't start.

Venom: It would help us debug this issue if you would create a new issue in our bug tracker and attach your logs:

(instruction for the logs are on the bug report page)
Exactly the same problems and results. A lot of data are send to galaxy-log.gog.com and witcher 3 doesn't start. I will use the bug report page later.

We've already received logs from a couple of users (thank you!), and we've been able to reproduce the issue. It affects only a small number of players. We're working on a fix.
Hi,

since the GOG Galaxy update yesterday evening, GalaxyCommunicationService crashes every time I hit the "Play" button to play Gwent.

I added a note to the already exisiting entry in the bug tracker - if there's anything else I can to to help let me know.
Hi :) I've got the same problem with the witcher 3.My pc just freezes when I launch it from the gog galaxy client and the only solution is to restart the pc....If launched from the game folder via exe...it works just fine. Please fix it :)

There still seems to be a bug with aborting, not sure if someone has reported this yet. But when I go to the download queue and press abort, the game will disappear from the queue but still be aborting and play button is available even though the game status still says "UPDATING".

I have similar issues. I'm using Avast anitivirus and during the update from 1.2.6 to 1.2.8, I've got a warning from behavioral scanner that GOG Galaxy Notifications Renderer.exe behaves like an IDP.Generic malware. Scanning the file gives no warnings.

1.2.8 seems to have fixed the issue with the GalaxyComunicationService for me, I don't have anymore crashes with Shadow Warrior (so far so good)

Overlay isn't working for me. Can't play with my friends on Gwent because I can't invite them due to bugged overlay. 1.2.8 didn't fix the problem. Some advices?

EDIT: Okay, nevermind... somewhat overlay was disabled, even if I didn't touch the settings xD
working now!
