Uninstall the game using the Uninstall shortcut in the Start Menu (Programs) or using the Control Panel.
Then download offline backup from site directly of with the GOG Downloader (GOG Downloader links are in the More dropdown menu of the game card in your library). Offline backup files are identical when downloading from site directly or using GOG downloader. You can't install the game with GOG Downloader, you can only download. You need to run the game setup file to install.
Galaxy's beta channels needs some TLC. Particularly when a password is used. I regularly get either a wrong password / doesn't exist message (when it is the correct password and does exist) which usually works after trying it multiple times. It also can sometimes take forever for Galaxy to stop loading / spinning after the password is entered and before showing the private channel.

Seems like since not many games use this currently, it's not been tested very well...

hello, everyone. fell free to add me
I am having a problem. Galaxy won't display my games beyond the first page. I have 2 pages of games in my library but Galaxy won't go beyond the first one, I clicked at the little arrows at the bottom and nothing happens.

I have the latest beta installed, Windows 7.

EDIT:

I restarted and it solved it lol, never had that happen before.

Is there a way to disable online features of games even with Galaxy installed ?

For example, Dying Light was always offline before installing Galaxy, but now it's always online even if Galaxy client is closed...

I didn't found options for this

I'm not sure I follow? The only way the game should be online is if you allowed to the game to connect online or started an online game / match. In the game settings for Dying Light I believe there is a setting to turn off online play so you can play completely offline.

I think it will ask you when you start the game for the first time if you want to make an online game or not, you probably selected an online game or a co-op game but because Galaxy was not installed (which this game uses for online play) you just never seen anyone.

Before installing Galaxy the game wasn't even able to connect to techlan servers, and the first thing I was seeing after starting the game was "offline", now I can set it still as single player, but it is always connected to their server from the start (even if multiplayer is disabled)... and I can't find options in the game itself for disable this... so, I just want to make Galaxy to act as before it was installed... to make games totally unable to go online

Oh a lot of games are like this. If there is a connection it will connect to the games servers even in single player, but will work fine without it. There isn't in setting really to stop this.

Only thing I know to do is block the connection with a firewall, which I don't really recommend or play without Galaxy or play without an internet connection active. Galaxy will launch offline, but not all features will work.
I'm having serious problems with Galaxy at the moment.

1: There are a lot of installation failures at almost every updates I mare. Retrying makes it work, but there always have to be a failure before.
2: Downloading games always takes multiple tries, especially the bigger ones (like The Witcher 3).
3: For some reasons, I can't seem get logged in most of the time. Sometimes it works OK, sometimes there's a constant logon timeout and sometimes, I just don't get logged on.
4: I've had multiple cases of achievements not registering. Most of it was with the Ys games (mainly SEVEN and the Oath of Felghana)
5: I can't install The Bard's Tale Trilogy anymore. Originally it couldn't tell what version I had and updates wouldn't get in (or notified). After uninstalling it (big mistake), I can't install it anymore. I get an instantaneous "Server Error".
6: And now, I'm trying to install Wizards & Warriors and I ran into the usual Installation Failure because it only partly downloads it, but the game gets added on my side list, so I couldn't continue usually (clicking on Retry did nothing). Using the "Verify/Repair" command seemed to do the trick.

I'm starting to think my copy of GOG Galaxy is a bit of a mess. Are those bugs common or known? And is there a way I can contribute to them being solved?

If you need more information, just ask.
Yeah, can you tell this program to stop recreating a desktop icon and start menu entry EVERY TIME I UPDATE A GAME?? Thaaaaaaaanks!
Is there any help for the settings? Notifications has "Desktop only", "Overlay only" and "Desktop & overlay" but I can't find what it *means* (I can *guess*, but I prefer to *know for sure*).

Thing is, I want this piss-poor "notify you incessantly, without stopping, by blinking the task bar, when something on your Wishlist goes on sale" turned OFF. Apparently you can't, you can only turn of sound, but not the notification in general. Which sucks.

Oh yes, I search the support site for "galaxy notifications" and it has nothing.
