I get the notification that GOG Overlay is available with shift + tab. If activated you get to see the fps counter. But is there a short cut to make the FPS counter to keep showing while playing? because once you close the overlay, the FPS counter goes away.

Not currently, but that's coming soon in a future patch... GOG is working on it.

Ah, ok. I was like "uh?". I guess this first release just tests that the feature works. At least cloud saves and achievements now seem to work well. Only thing is that it is odd when there are games that support achievements but don't support the overlay. You only get to know if you got the achievement later on as you obviously don't get a notification on it. One example is Bloodrayne: Betrayal.

Yea they are still getting the overlay working with games, some just need a few tweaks in a certain file using JSON... I imagine GOG will update games a few at a time making more compatible as we go.

Maybe I'm missing something, but every image I've seen of the new GOG Galaxy show it has not title bar at the top of the window. How do I get it to look like that?
Recently Galaxy has started to ask for my password every time I launch it. Is it an intended behaviour?

No, it's not. Just launched it and Galaxy did not ask for my password.

What "image" do you refer to?

Erm, you can't? That was made for promotional images only... that or GOG has plans to drop the windows frame/border in the future. I hope they do something though, I am not a fan of the windows frame and I think it hurts Galaxy's design.

takezodunmer2005: I had to break down and use steam's launcher for my gog library, was going to use my folders, but I have far too many games for this to be a preferred method...I miss using galaxy! I'll just have to wait for Galaxy 1.3-2.0...
avatar
BKGaming: If you are talking about doing that because of the freezing issue, Liosan said they will release a fix ASAP... now that they have dump file to better tell what the issue is. It may even be fixed this coming week , however it's always possible your issue is slightly different than Franck19520's freezing issue.
Thanks, and sorry about the delayed "RE" I gave my error report so I hope it is indeed taken care of...Oh, and might I suggest having custom categories for our bloated libraries? If there's one thing that steam is good at, it is this!...No rush though, as I'll be happy to be able to use galaxy for an extended period!

I switch to fullscreen when using Galaxy. Try looking in the View menu for the option if you don't know the keyboard shortcut.

At least, there's no menubar when fullscreen on a Mac. Maybe Galaxy is different on Windows?

Liosan: snip
Liosan,

That issue I'm having with Galaxy taking a long time to abort and load the install window is back again. I have gotten the detailed logs and have uploaded them to mantis (issue #: 0004912).

Please take a look at these if you have time, I'll do whatever I can to help troubleshoot this issue. Thanks.

How do I see if a game supports cloud, controller, etc?
I think by looking at the store page or library, it should be clear if there is support (which it is not now).
Maybe an icon for cloud, achievments, etc which is crossed out if the game has no support and is plain if the game does support the feature.
