2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

XenonS: Hi BKGaming,
ok thanks. What I forgot to say is that , of course, GG gets better and I'm updating it. But I just would like to chose the 'right' moment :)

Salutations,
No problem, try using that command line switch and see how that works. From what I have read, it will still inform you an update is available but allow you to update when you are ready to update.

I assume you know how to add a command line switch to a shortcut?

Thanks again, BKGaming, yes, I'm familiar with command lines. Also my post suggests that this matter would be a 'nuisance', but thinking over it, it's exagerated, sorry but my English is not the best...
Hi everyone!

As I mentioned a few posts back, Galaxy wasn't working for me no matter what.
But I decided to give another try and, now it works! :)

When the installer asked me to open Galaxy after having installed it, I got an error message something like I didn't have admin rights. Which is quite funny, since this is my PC and I'm the only user on it.
Anyway, I instead started Galaxy from the Start menu and that worked just fine.
Checked the setting which allows Galaxy to start along with Windows, restarted the PC, Windows boots up and so did Galaxy. :)
I guess all is well then. ^^

Bye now!
So something weird has been happening with GOG Galaxy for quite some time now. It's on auto-start, but when I turn on my computer, I get a popup that asks me if I want GOG Galaxy to make changes to my computer. This only happens after GOG Galaxy updates itself. I have tried uninstalling GOG Galaxy and reinstalling it, and the popup is nowhere to be seen when I do that, but as soon as Galaxy updates, the popup returns.

I have tested the program and the popup doesn't appear if the program is on manual start, only on auto-start, and only after the program has an update. Anyone else have this problem?

Lunar_Anomaly: As of latest patch, Galaxy isn't even starting for me. I click the icon and nothing happens. Tried to reinstall it but to no avail.

hohiro: You could take a look into the json files in C:\programdata\gog.com\galaxy with a text editor. They should have plain text in them.
For me one of these files (communication_config.json) was corrupt on my laptop and deleting it made Galaxy rebuild it and start normally again.
I'd like to follow up on this post: worked for me, the communication config file was blank for me too. Deleting it, and GoG Galaxy immediately started.

Many thanks! :D
GOG Galaxy cannot connect online. I keep getting log in window and even when i do, nothing happens.

Since the last update GOG Galaxy is not working; when I click as Run as Administrator, nothing happens. Also it's not starting when I turn on my PC.
This sucks, I was about to finish The Witcher 3. I can't even run the game manually.
can i have my code ??? maybe couse i wanna play with gwent
I would Really like to have the ability to see forum discussion about a game from the store page. That way you can look for mods fixes etc prior to buying the title.
Since the most recent update I've been unable to use the online functions of any of the Neo Geo games in my library. When selecting multiplayer or leaderboards, I would see a message telling me to sign in if I wish to use GOG Galaxy services. I've tried signing out and back in, and restarting the client---didn't make a difference.

While there were barely any folks playing online multi, I do miss those leaderboards.
With the new update, now i can access the library yay. Oh, but now Backup and Goodies are empty in all my games.
Really, for two months galaxy has been practically unusable for me.

The witcher 3 doesn't require galaxy to load. You can uninstall galaxy and play.

In other news anybody else unable to use the multiplayer functions? Me and my friend can't continue our co-op campaign in Divinity Original Sin 2 since the latest galaxy update.
Same. Divinity Original Sin 2 in Co-Op not working. I'm only getting a "not connected to the Galaxy servers".

Anything I can do to continue our co-op campaign here?
Has there been ANY news for the Linux client yet? I'd even take an alpha alpha build...

post 8 of the sticky thread "linuxvangog - Fantastic Linux & Mac Guy and Where To Find Him"

In other words, much later on the roadmap and trying to get everything else working first.

Considering the Mac version isn't really a Mac version, I'd say it's better that an eventual Linux version is done after everything is ironed out.
