Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

O.K. - I am sick of your "mantis" system which obviously is not working at all. As you can see here
I first mentioned this here.

The only person actively trying to resolve the issue is ME. So why do you even pay support people if they are doing ABSOLUETELY NOTHING? The issue has been assigned ... (11/25/2017)....well .. great ... several updates both of the game and of Galaxy. NOTHING happened - no feedback not even an added note.

You guys also still are constantly IGNORING my question if it is normal that I cannot actually use chat inside of a game because Galaxy tells me I am not connected.

First try to tell you here.
Second try to tell you here.
Third try to tell you here.

NOT A SINGLE REPLY!

I am really starting to wonder what this whole thread even is about because basically I don't have the feeling of any dialogue here anymore.

I have no idea if this has been asked before, but can you limit which games that Galaxy recognizes? I only have 2 that I would use galaxy for (since it is needed for multiplayer).

I still use the GOG Downloader v 3.6.0.0 to get all my game files and install manually.

The easiest way would be to give Galaxy its own Installation Folder via the preferences. Install the games you want to use Galaxy for in let's say C:\Galaxy Games, but when you install any other games using the manual installers, have them point towards C:\GOG Games. Since you use Galaxy so infrequently, it probably won't be a huge bother to swap the install folder when it comes up.

Since it sounds like you have a bunch of games already installed, you may need extra steps. I'm not quite sure how to get Galaxy to "forget" old games, hopefully someone else does?

If you need to move your two Galaxy-compatible games to another folder to make my fix work, just create the new folder and then move them manually, and then Import them via Galaxy at their new location (select the game from your Library, then press More -> Manage Installation -> Import folder). Galaxy will make any additional corrections at that point.

Is there any timeline of when we can see support for more games added? I would really love to see the overlay be used for Torchlight II

Thanks, it was listed under a Q & A regarding Galaxy.

TheTomasz: Hey,

we have released a new version of GOG Galaxy.

This should help for the problem with Galaxy start you have reported on the forums :)

It also brings couple bugfixes and improvement in our update process, that should help with choosing server with most performance.

Enjoy, play games and Merry Christmas!
Did you guys make a change in the last update? DLC's seem to no longer install automatically when installing the base game... I've noticed this twice now.

I finally installed galaxy as somebody from tech support thought it might help with a display issue (it didn't) and then I saw that it supported cloudsyncing save files. When I go through the list of supported games though, none of the might and magic games are there. Is there any possibility of them being added?

- Individual Game User Name -

Add to option to set a separate "user" name for each game. Instead of galaxy making games look ...weird by adding user names where they do not belong; overwriting even names that have been set (http://forum.masteroforion.com/index.php?/topic/1761-custom-race-leaders-name-bug/); people that care about that part of a games atmosphere can play now.

Seriously, please.

PLEASE! I'm sick of rage alt+f4ing because of this and your service guys have proven to be utterly incapable to move a game from one shelf to another with proper names on it. :(
As of latest patch, Galaxy isn't even starting for me. I click the icon and nothing happens. Tried to reinstall it but to no avail.

You could take a look into the json files in C:\programdata\gog.com\galaxy with a text editor. They should have plain text in them.
For me one of these files (communication_config.json) was corrupt on my laptop and deleting it made Galaxy rebuild it and start normally again.

After I had uninstalled Galaxy I removed all the leftovers. That still didn't help me, I'm afraid.
I think it is completely rediculous that the oldest product reviews appear first and you can't even read more recent ones unless you tedously click your way though the pages.

GOG, please put the latest reviews first ! I want to know, what current reviewers think rather than read reviews which are several years old!

I hate to say this, but this is way better on steam!.

What do you guys think?

We've made some changes, but this is not one of them.
It did work fine for me as well. Could you tell us with which game you have problem?

Erm, I believe it was Tempest and maybe Hard West... it didn't seem like it was a specific game problem though. I remember I download the game and I remember once the base game installed the blue install button in the top right for the DLC was showing on the page and the DLC wasn't checked in settings.

Which was weird but I remember in the past Galaxy would automatically download any bought DLC when you downloaded the base game. I also don't remember seeing this problem before 1.2.32.
