I'm glad i'm not the only one as I thought I was going mad when GOG said it was fixed yet I am still getting the popups even after an uninstall/reinstall of the latest version.
I also posted about this in addition GOG auto-updartes/reinstalls games as I play them causing crashes!
in addition when I report these things to GOG on the forums(in Galaxy) it redirects me here https://www.facebook.com/connect/ping?ancestor_origins=file%3A%2F%2F&client_id=&domain=embed.gog.com&origin=1&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fstaticxx.facebook.com%2Fconnect%2Fxd_arbiter.php%3Fversion%3D44%23cb%3Df16ce407fe4b9b%26domain%3Dembed.gog.com%26origin%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fembed.gog.com%252Ff81bb2b32d7ec%26relation%3Dparent&response_type=token%2Csigned_request&sdk=joey causing "Invalid App ID: The provided app ID does not look like a valid app ID."

who in HELL is "joey"? and why is it redirectiing me to a facebook site more over anscestor origins!(A site my mother uses!(who has NO TIES with gog at all) and despite the claim you have "fixed this issue" this is happening today right now! as of versilon 1.2.57! it happened AFTER Galaxy updated so obviously your "fix" caused the issue not solved it!
GOG even if this is a glytch why is it redirecting me to facebook at all and anscestor origins! that is not a glytch that is a forced MALWARE! I am sick of your flakey client and will find other ways ot download my RIGHTFULLY OWNED games but will NOT BE BUYING NEW ONES FROM YOU!

SeeDborg: It's doing it to me too...
It never did before.

Any way to fix this ?
use the old "GOG downloader' but it too is flakey because you must open a web browser every time you want to install ONE game! tedius!

unisol2k1: Every 2 weeks this bug is back. this is not a mistake anymore. this is on purpose. they know about the problem, but it is always coming back. if you cannot get facebook plugins get to work, get rid of everything facebook. a complete facebook purge on this site. otherwise this bug will come back again. it is not funny anymore. this is the most amateur behaviour i ever saw from any company. As long as this bug is coming back, i am not buying anymore. and i love gog. but this is bullshit! this is malware.
Well said. +1, more if I could.

This Facebook crap is really annoying. It's even more annoying that it keeps coming back. Fix it permanently or I will stop using Galaxy altogether. I enjoy the features Galaxy has but not at the expense of having Facebook malware on my computer.
Yup very annoying. It's a little suspicious that the issue didn't crop up until I clicked on a forum questioning whether it was wise to pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 so far in advance. Then again I'm sure it's a coincidence and a problem that can be solved by staying away from the community.

Still sure would be nice to not have FB encroaching on me.
I love GOG, and with the Summer Sale I just spent a TON of money re-buying alot of my games so I could makes this my exclusive platform, but you guys need to get rid of this Facebook BS once and for all, and do so quickly. This feels like a Malware pop-up akin to a fake security threat or a porn website. Malwarebytes doesn't detect anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does after another update.
I am verry disappointed in GOG, since this FB crap opened up :(

john_hatcher: Uninstall Galaxy?
and after you uninstrall Galaxy run Malwarebytes(thouigh it probably went camo and damaged your copy(if any) from its ability to detect the malware(even if it is a malware)
GOG CEO and FB have one thing in common

their "looking in to it" and they "appologize" and hit us again.

If this was happening on, say the Store page, it probably would have been fixed immediately.
Yet again Facebook cause problems when i have a client designed and owned by a company i do not expect a 3rd party to block me using parts of that client
These forums have nothing to do with facebook and should have no connection to them .if i wanted facebook involved i would go and post on GOG'S facebook page ,the only reason this can be happening is that GOG are allowing facebook complete access to Galaxy security which means them having access to all our data including what we have chose not to make public if it was just a case of problems with using facebook to log into Galaxy then only those people who use the facebook sign in would have problems and not be able to access any part of Galaxy .
The bug is back with a vengeance, sending automatically to the link below not only when accessing a forum, but also everytime you change page in a discussion.

https://www.facebook.com/connect/ping?ancestor_origins=file%3A%2F%2F&client_id=&domain=embed.gog.com&origin=1&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fstaticxx.facebook.com%2Fconnect%2Fxd_arbiter.php%3Fversion%3D44%23cb%3Df14f1c7d26fe0bc%26domain%3Dembed.gog.com%26origin%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fembed.gog.com%252Ff1a13ac5cb3d3ac%26relation%3Dparent&response_type=token%2Csigned_request&sdk=joey

Frankly, it's really worrying that such a thing may happen. I'm not so sure I want to beta-test the future version of Galaxy anymore...

Have send a tweet to them about it, hopefully it will be fixed asap.
