Is there a GOG Galaxy API anywhere?

I'm a developer and I love gaming, so when I saw the GOG Galaxy FAQ openly support tinkering, I figured I'd have to play with it. Any info on this?
AFAIK, not yet, though they have said they will be releasing more information in the future.

There is a Galaxy SDK for game developers, but access to it is limited to our partner developers/publishers.

Thanks for answering that question! It's too bad the SDK isn't freely available to make it easier for indie devs but I can see why.

Will there be a published protocol for LGOGDownloader and open source development?

For the time being? Or forever and ever?

Can you please also answer the questions in this thread about Galaxy protocol documentation? https://www.gog.com/forum/general/when_do_you_plan_to_publish_galaxy_protocol_specification

I know. I asked the question here to up the odds that a bluetext saw it.

Thanks. I think they saw it, but for some reason they don't answer. It's not like they can't say - "we have no idea yet", or whatever.
A 3rd party Galaxy clone will solve problems like this.

umm... no... it wont.... that would only shift the same problem to the third party clone...
