Don't worry it happens, I also missed it at first since it was a Sticky thread. It is odd that the news was posted on Facebook now. Perhaps its because the alpha client got a significant update recently that adds some features that weren't there before.

question is this active right now like people using the client? cause I cant see any videos or pictures of the thing in action

Yup, I only realised it was there about a month after it was posted. Who reads stickies? :V I just started using it, but I believe they told everyone to refrain from posting any screenshots or reviews until it becomes a public beta.

Yes it is active as you can observe from the active discussion in the thread that I linked. I am also using the alpha client as well since I signed up for it sometime ago. The reason why there aren't any videos or pictures of the client is that it is a closed alpha which you can still signup for. :)
