It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Yea, pretty much the title.

Anyone else having trouble with it refusing to connect?

no, do you have a firewall running, that might prevent the downloader to interact with the internet?
Check your antivirus and firewall.
Nevermind. For some reason it wouldn't work if I tried starting it using the .exe but got it working by adding a game to the download list. Weird.

Same thing happen to me before with Comodo AV sandbox. I need to isolate gogdownloader from the sandbox.
If you have program with similar function, check it too.
For me it doesnt start and crashes.

What OS? And do you have the correct version of .NET installed? Any error messages or just the generic "Program has stopped working" one?

The CLR20r3 means there is a DLL incompatibility somewhere in your system. See if reinstalling .NET 3.5 fixes it.

Maybe busy servers? How fast are you downloading it at? I'd wager 30k or less...

Maybe...

But you can't download faster than what's being sent to you. If the server is under load then it's going to try and distribute it evenly. Besides you never answered the question how fast you're getting the file... If we know the size of the file, we can break that down using a little math to figure out how fast you're actually getting it...

It's possible you will get better download times during non-peak hours (like at midnight)
