^ The only truly great game on the list is a contractual Steam exclusive.

rtcvb32: I still love that game... My first experience into rouge-likes and it was very vague and obscure of what you had to do, but fun all the same. I remember equipping a scroll and beating a goblin to death with it :P
Me too. It simply feels complete somehow. :)

Erich_Zann: Awesome memories.
Yeah it's a great game.
I noticed its not available for free anymore because the ip got sold to someone I forgot so there's hope for a sequel or remake. :)

That's stupid... The first half of the game was shareware to sell the second half, and the second half was a long time ago turned into abandonware... If they are doing something with it then great, but it would be better to leave the original games free and alone as extras or a prequel to anything upcoming. And last i checked it had no compatibility issues.

Honestly though i don't see why they should really change it, yeah it's dated but it didn't have anything really stupid or unnecessary...

To be honest I'm assuming a bit here since I cant find a site that looks legit to download it anymore. It could just be that it's still legit though much harder to find and me jumping to conclusions when I read that someone else now have the ip.

It was nice to see them use the six release format yet again today for the Russian releases.

I imagine the appeal of this release method from a seller's perspective is that customers are psychologically more likely to view the individual releases as a set, which makes it easier to justify buying all of them, or at least more than one, especially if they're discounted.
