I think this a good suggestion, probably with the number lowered to 3.

BJMcKay, being from where you're from I would've thought you'd become comfortable with surveilance over the past 20 years.
All jokes aside, I don't see how what games you get on GOG has anything to do with anything. Are you embarrased over the games you get? I don't care if you're into adult games, and they're nothing to be ashamed of. I don't personally play them, but that's just because I've never seen any that actually look like good games to me. (Edit: That's not actually entirely true. I'm going to play Lust from Beyond at some point. I've played the demo and the prequel, and while maybe not the best game gameplay-wise, it's got excellent Lovecraftian themes. Some of the best I've seen since Dark Corners of the Earth.)

And as for all the stalker accusations. I haven't stalked anyone, this is all information freely given by himself. I just never fell for the "my friend" bull, he was laying it on a bit too thick.

It's very sad that you don't see you're the one embarrasing yourself while you keep defending this individual.

Besides your colorful response, I've gotten excellent words of support in private messages. From people who see that the concern here isn't just the hate speech and promotion of violence, but also the fake mask of über-friendliness this individual plasters on only while in the GOG forum.

If someone here wants to socialize with fake, manipulating bigots, I can't stop you though. I just don't myself. I've been surrounded by enough fake, manipulating people in the past.
If this individual is still welcomed into the community, I just stay out myself. Easy as that. I'll survive, and no one here's gonna miss me for all too long :)

I was aware of Se7en_Bullets's conduct on Steam awhile back. I can confirm that what direspirefirewire said is true, he PM'd me links to Se7en_Bullets's profile page where I saw all his posts. I was not going to hold that against him since he did that on another forum. Only to keep it in mind if I saw that kind of activity here. He is currently still on cooldown for the exception I gave him for "The Suffering" game so I was hoping this would give him a chance to be a proactive member of this community during that time.

As for (ø,ø) publicly "outing" Se7en_Bullets's Steam post history, I'd have preferred if he had come to me privately with his concerns. At the very least posted in the discussion thread instead of the main CG thread if he thought the community should know about it. I don't think (ø,ø) did anything wrong going through old posts on Steam. Nothing that I wouldn't have done trying to research a person's conduct.

I also noted some heated language between a few members. I would like to remind people that we can discuss things but do so in a civil manner. Thank you.

I want to remind everyone, that this is the Community giveaway. It literally means, each member of the community has a right to audit other users' eligibility and conduct, as well as decisions made by giveaway maintainer.

If some users raise a suspicion ( for whatever reason ), it is quite natural, that others might check their profile and post history.

Calling an audit "stalking" or "searching a dirt" is disrespect towards the community. If you don't want to be checked, do not participate in giveaway in any role.

In case when giveaway maintainer has been informed about the issue, but ignored it, or made unsatisfactory decision, you may write it in public in this particular thread.

So other community members could judge and express their opinions on the matter. And the accused users ( if there are any ) could defend themselves.

Please, refrain from any discussion in the game-requesting topic.

Personally, I think it is not sincere to be nice and polite on GOG, while being rude on other resources. Therefore, misconduct on any other forum should be considered as violation of giveaway rules.

The communities here isn't like steam, I find a lot of toxicity on steam, but here on gog it feels like something different.
