I have clarified the matchday settings on the first post:

The matchday changes on tuesday 23:59 GMT +2.

It is not automatic however, seems the cyanides league isnt smart enough to do that - so there may or may not be lag as one of the admins need to do it manually.

So if the matchday should have ended, but it isnt - spam one of the admins ;)

The week is due to end in 11 minutes.

However we only have 1 game left & both coaches are offline.
Even if they started playing now, they would never be finished before the deadline.

Add to this that I have my week 2 match against Ninjada booked for 12 minutes time & I have decided to end the day now.

Let this be a lesson to you all:

WEEK 2 NOW IN PROGRESS.......

Damn those gutter runners are fast!
First turn I made the mistake of not rerolling an attempt to pick up the ball.
By half time I was 2-0 down.
Scored one back at the start of the second half & managed to kill a gutter runner.
Just getting started for the equalizer & suffer a damn powercut!!
Lost everything.
Not just internet connection, but lights, alarm clock, unsaved worksheet, the lot :(

Going for a rematch tomorrow.....

I have some baaaad beef with Cyanide atm.

It would seem, that admin adjusted win doesnt not count as normal win with the score set by admin, but rather as autowin with admin set score:

The loser gets no MVP.
The winner get two MVP.

Loser gets no money.
The winner gets extra money.

The loser gets spp for goals (maybe? anyways not net in 0-2 set score)
The winner gets spp for goals.

DodoGeo asked me yesterday to make the game draw, but i insisted on keeping on the 0-2 "no contact win" which i had posted earlier - and I am not going to touch his score. Actually as the matchday changed already, i doubt it would be even possible to begin with. I told DodoGeo he would be the guineapig and that seems to exactly what happened..

Anyhow - autowin superscoring being what it is, I think later on the win is going to be either dropped to 0-1 (which is still not what i wanted it to be, i dont want to punish the no show too much nor award extra money and extra mvp..) OR consider the 0-0 draw ....which i dont like at all though: i the person who showed up cant get change to play at all and giving measily draw for it would seem just wrong to me... But just to make sure, ill later ask around the chat for the 0-0 judge set draw and matchday's end with no play effects....

Anyways - opponent not showing up and not getting to play even half a match till internet cut of housefire is the worst case scenario in every coaches mind yes? Everyone is here to play the matches, not to power play their team statistics? :)

I'd like to believe that they are doing Blood Bowl 2 to get rid of all these damn problems
- no automatic match day end
- not enough possibilities to "set" game scores in a league when necessary
- messed up menu design
- not possible to just create a team for LAN play
- no Slann
- and much, much more...

On one hand I want all these issues to be fixed but on the other hand I don't want to have to buy a new game for that. :k

An admin adjusted win is treated like a server disconnect win with a custom score.

Even more incentive to make sure you play your games.....

The sad thing is that id be ready to throw shitload of money at the if they just fixed the damn game properly :)

I mean, its not like coding those admin rights and remaking the UI should be THAT big coding feats.. Lets just hope EA wont buy the licence, or we will be starting with the human team in basic game (69,99€) and then buy all different teams as DLC for 20€ / piece...

Slann, Chaos pact and Bretonnians arent in game thanks to Games Workshop. From what i have read, the Slann wont most likely ever make it to the game because they want to keep the Slann as the "mythical Old Ones" - who ofcourse dont play BB :(

No idea whats the 'no' behind Chaos Pact.

On the 3rd attempt we got the game.
Just about the only thing on the Blood Bowl pitch that I have never figured out how to handle is 4 Gutter Runners!!
Had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Hey, I'm going to upload it after work today. I't was just a test with a brand-new team that never played, so it's not that bad :)

Do you think we could get one of the blues to change the title of this topic? Can they do that at all?
"Restarting soon" might be a bit misleading at this point.

Send Judas a PM, he should be able to change the title. Whether he's willing to though is another thing :P
