What do you think guys?
In my opinion the only thing that I really miss here is the Workshop... If GoG want to beat Steam they gotta have a good workshop what is difficult :( because Steam Workshop is made by the community and the community here is far from getting eny close, The rest they have or will have soon like achievements and other stuff but you gotta agree with me that installing mods and sharing content is incredibly easy with steam
I never trust anything except a dedicated mod program done by modders or myself to install mods so no I don't need something like steams workshop here.

Oh and did you mean GOG Batter Steam? If so I agree. It's nice having a client as a option. GOG might be able to batter that down steams throat. ;)

I don't know. For me Steam is still batter than Gog, with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and all that. Gog only has the Lego.
Steam has Dota 2. It alone beats any single DDs out there.

Trolling aside, Steam's Library trumps everything out there. GOG is far below Steam, therefore it won't beat Steam, ever.
The less like Steam GOG is the better it is, and vice versa.

Also DRM Free > DRM, so even GOG keeps trying to emulate Steam with shit like client and achievements, it will still always be better than Steam as long as there is no DRM.

Pretty much this. If anything, it's Steam that needs to catch up.

It's arguable if GOG or Steam have the better range of products. I understood the OP as what have the best service so to speak.

True but you can be as offensive as you like despite that on some subforums. And I tell you that environment really breeds creativity in that department.

GOG's different, that's good enough for me.
battered sims?
I'm only here for the GOG batter.
I'm with vv221, for my own personal preferences, GOG is already better than Steam in many ways and has been since day one.

However, I also recognize that my preferences are a minority when speaking of the current gaming market and that there is no one digital distribution platform that currently "does it all" for me. So I'm not tied to any platform -- I'm a gaming omnivore that consumes and takes the best of everything, and I use independent and home-grown tools for organizing and maintaining my collection.

Mobile games and bundlesites are like appetizers.
Cheap, high variety, unique choices, just enough to whet your appetite.

Steam is like the salad bar / buffet.
You can find almost anything you want, but quality is sometimes hit and miss and some things can't be taken out of the restaurant, or might just disappear from the menu completely.

GOG is the main course.
High quality, little to no BS, and I can ALWAYS get it wrapped up and eat it even if I'm not in the restaurant. They even give me the recipe so I can stick it into my replicator and never have to worry about losing access to it, even if it takes me 20 years to get around to eating it!

Fireflower Games, itch.io, Desura, etc. are dessert
You don't really need to consume them, but its nice to know they are there and sometimes you just get a craving for them.
