tomyam80: I do hope that GOG Connect wld one day b able give the DLCs as well but as of now the DLCs on GOG is not as complete as on Steam 4 many of the games so we can only hope & wait with abated breath.
Just to reinforce: it is exactly as Pheace said. It's not Gog Connect that is incomplete, it is the Steam API that doesn't list the DLCs you own.
Gog Connect has to rely on that API to discover your steam games and transfer them, but nothing they can do can supply a feature that is missing from Valve's side.

BeatriceElysia: What wrong with just buying the dlcs twice?

Oh, yes, some people want a free ride, GOG connect for Witcher 3 & huge discounts for every game ASAP.
Ntg wrong with buying twice, for rich ppkl or ppl with too much $ who hv no where 2 spend of cos. And i dun think i would consider ppl who BOUGHT Witcher 3 on Steam & wishes 2 own a DRM-free copy of it 4 free on GOG via GOG Connect as those who 1 a free ride. Reason being many ppl (including me occasionally esp when the game is not 'complete' on GOG) wld buy the games on Steam as it is usually cheaper there.

Regional pricing means i can get the same game on Steam during a sale 4 a lot less cos i wld hv 2 pay in USD here compared 2 me buying on Steam. However, i usually wld hold out & buy on GOG instead even though it is still more ex as i prefered a DRM-free copy. The only exception as i said earlier is when GOG dun hv all the DLCs available.

As i wld need 2 pay more 4 a game on GOG, I of cos do hope there can b bigger discounts 4 games i wish 2 purchase but i dun c anything wrong with that either. Dun necessarily hv 2 b ASAP but if they hv a big discount during sales that wld b gd enough.

Yup, i know that. That's y i say i await with abated breath that maybe the Steam API changes or something that can detect DLCs such as an overhaul of the system. A very long shot i know but we can always wish right?

No 1 is saying GOG Connect is incomplete, by incomplete i meant the DLCs available 4 purchase on GOG r not as complete 4 some games as on Steam. A simple example wld b soundtrack DLC which usually can b purchased on Steam but the same soundtrack DLC is not available on GOG.

I see I'm low rated again by cheapstakes.

Yes, you want a free ride.

Nobody will give you free copy of a game that costed minimum of 19 euros on sale two years ago and now you could buy it for 15 euros on sale, just because of different client/platform you happened to buy it on. We're talking about GOTY edition of course.

Just because you can't or don't want to buy second copy, doesn't make you entitled to second copy. Yes, I use correct word. Entitled.
Games are luxury no matter if you bought Refunct for 2€ or Bloodstained RtoN for 36€.
It's irrelevant if I do rebuy Kynseed, tW3 or Iconoclast and no matter how much I spent for second copies of any game I own on steam and gog, it doesn't make me a rich person - just person who's aware that just because there is or was GOG Connect, doesn't mean any game can or will be on GOG Connect.

You're such an idiot.
You just admitted you want free ride.
So instead of buying at GOG, which you say you want, you buy games at cheaper price at different store and come to GOG asking to give you all these games you aquired cheaper, for even less, less being totally free. Along with any additional content.

If GOG ever run out of business, it will be because of you.
I'm continuing to buy at GOG as well as Steam. Yes, you heard me. I buy at two place and GOG won't fail because of me. It's you who's not buying at GOG and who's bad for their business. I at least don't expect free ride and buy most of my games on GOG (second copy or not) because of that.

Don't expect an apology even if you say you do buy at GOG. I won't ever believe you, not with thousands of screenshots/proof.

When I made post you quoted, I didn't imagine I will be angry again. But be happy with option for downvote. If GOG happens to offer tW3 with all dlcs on GOG Connect, be happy with that. You're now on my gifting backlist and I backlist you so hard neither will Zeogold get any free copies from me. From now on, all free copies I buy will be donated in new threads, but you won't win any of those.

LOL, look who's the real idiot here. If i wanted a free ride i wun even buy on Steam or GOG 4 that matter. I dun think there is anything wrong with buying a game at a cheaper price, only idiots like u wld buy a game when u cld hv got the same game @ a cheaper price, assuming both games r exactly the same. If GOG did not intend any1 2 hv another DRM-free copy of the game they hv on Steam they wld not even hv started this initiative.

And please dun b an bloody idiot saying GOG run out of biz cos of me, a biz does not depend solely on 1 person not buying their games which does not applies 2 me anyway since i do buy most of my games here rather than on Steam. As mentioned earlier, i wld only buy games on Steam if the game on GOG is 'incomplete' or not available.

Neither do i need proof anything 2 u 2 make u believe cos ni dun care a hoot wat u think. Getting angry over a simple post just goes 2 show how immature u r & incapable of hving a civil discussion.

I dun worry being on ur blacklist either cos i dun intend get a game fr idiots & sore loser like u anyway so blacklist me all u 1. LMAO.

2 the rest, apologies 4 the derailment but as u all can c this was not started by me. Oh well, guess i shd stop reply 2 trolls anymore here. *shrugs*

But keep thinking you're right by expecting a free product from GOG because you bought it cheaper at steam.

Currently, I would rather have a ban and I still won't apologize to some deluded cheapstakes expecting impossible.

No matter how many titles gets added to GOG Connect or were added to GOG Connect, expecting a tW3 GOTY on that list is a free ride. Even if tW3 happens as GOG Connect title #stillafreeride.
They have started that iniciative to make money on dlcs. Some games on GOG Connect don't have one? #stillafreeride
They expected you to make them money from that, either in shopping done by new users or you getting a dlc. But of course, you want whole your library to be on GOG Connect #stillafreeride

Can you.FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. NOT type like this? it's SO annoying.

No one's gonna give you a free copy just because you have it on a diffrent platform just because you asked nicely, they have to make money off it, GOG sometimes does it but it's rare and the games are numbered and time limited and it's a one way road,Steam to GOG.
I don't know why, but I can sense Steam subscriber brainless smartarses, with funny posting, creeping in this thread.

All the meaningful replies have been given, by experienced GOG forum members and the topic has been covered.

lmfao! I came from Steam and i agree, GoG is a breathe of fresh air. It Is nice to start a new journey on a new platform.I still use Steam cause i have Lot's invested into it but these forums on GoG are pretty clean except for this OP's thread..makes me laugh.
