As France is celebrating Bastille Day, we’d also want to honor the late comic book artist and storyteller Benoît Sokal with this special giveaway of his two adventure game masterpieces.

Go to the front page of GOG.COM to claim your complimentary copies of Syberia and Syberia II before the offer ends on 17th July 2021, at 1 PM UTC.

Also, don’t forget to check our French Touch Sale with dozens of great games up to 90% off.

Thank you.
These are great games, well worth a play through, the story is immersive and the world just has so much life and wonder.

Already own them myself but thank you regardless for the freebies.
Thanks GOG!
I'm not one for point-clicks at all, but these are apparently super good?

A lot of Giveaways lately, very cool.
Thanks. Once I actually start getting into adventure games, these will come in handy :P
These were among the first point & click adventures that I really fell in love with; excellent games, thanks for the giveaway GOG & Microids!
Cool, thanks.
It's been a while since we had a point-and-click giveaway. Thank you. :)

EDIT
I remembered incorrectly as I have mixed up two different Benoit(s): Sokal and Benoit Hozjan of Kheops. Sorry! Somehow I was convinced RttMI was a game from the "Syberia's Benoit" since this last Summer sale and only now a comment made me doub that! Still, I'm a sucker for this games, expecially when published correctly. Right now many of these classics are only on Steam and on Big Fish, sometimes with versions deemed as inferior. So totally agree with Swedrami and CMiq lists. Some games might be not so good, Like Dragon Lore 2, but I'd be happy to have them running fine on a modern system without hassle and all the localization ,for a fair price!

Original post:
People who are into the genre will probably have them already, but it's a nice gesture after Benoit Sokal departure. Also a good move to generate interest given that a remake (reboot?) is in the workings. Return to Mysterious Island is another game by him that is currently on sale for some change.
You can vote for its sequel to be on GOG here:

As for me, I would have preferred the third installment of the series, that I don't own yet, but oh well.

Thanks for the reminder *voted*
It's not my genre, but the games are legendary, so I took them. :) I hope that some day I'll find time to launch and play them. Right now there are other games which have priority unfortunately... Anyway thanks for another giveaway!
Thanks for the games!
A nice giveaway! Already own both games but happy for those who can also play them now.
Clicking the banner re-added the games to library, despite I had them already (since this is 1+2 bundle I reckon). I don't think that anything changed, but I haven't checked goodies/downloads before and after adding the bundle. A bit peculiar still.
Thanks for the birthday gift, GOG.
