Unless it's the imminent release of Cyberpunk 2077 I'm not interested...
Ciri on the other hand... :P

thomq: I think in general showing up in some other game seems like it would mean the series is over.
For so long as Capitalism exists, the Witcher series will never be over. That IP is worth many millions of dollars. And if they (that is, whoever holds the IP in the future, which doesn't necessarily have to be CD Projekt Red) never make any more games with it, then they would be leaving many more millions of dollars on the table. No one is going to do that forever. Therefore, more Witcher games are inevitable. It's only a matter of time.

Oh bulllshit!

Next thing I know you'll try to convince me they are going to release five different versions of "Bladerunner" and start making Star Wars movies again, thirty years after the original trilogy ended!

I doubt that would ever happening. Though, they might try something new like a card game. Maybe with collectible cards, like that "Magic: The Gathering" card game from way back when. Before the turn of the century, right?

They could call it "Galaxy Wars: Enterprising New Trekkies". That would certainly get the attention of a lot of fan bases, I'm sure everyone would jump on that. It'd even have a pronounceable initialism.

There was some twitter love between the Horizon Zero Dawn developers and CD Projekt RED. Maybe this is a small hint that Horizon Zero Dawn will finally get a PC release.

Or a more convoluted supposition, Death Stranding, the upcoming open world game from Hideo Kojima, is using the Decima game engine, which was developed by Guerrilla Games, who are the developers of Horizon Zero Dawn.

Nintendo just announced Smash Bros. for Switch, mystery solved.

I, for one, look forward to seeing Geralt and Ciri beat the crap out of an Inkling.
What's he mean for the first time? My copy of Don't Starve isn't a part of the official canon? AMalieus will hear of this!
Telltale could always release yet another poker title with him in it.
