Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back! is set to release on Steam and PS4 this fall.

Questionably humorous hyperbole aside, for what it's worth, it's bound to be better than the old games, right? Surely lessons must have been learned by carrying the weight of two extra decades of game design history and convention on its back.
Are you kidding me!?? my god bubsy <3 so happy to see him back!
You know, Bubsy didn't fail just because it was a badly designed game. It also had to do with the fact that Bubsy is an annoying cunt and an awfully designed character.

There are some things better left dead and gone.

Did you see the trailer? The first joke he makes is about reality TV.
Just made the gog wishlist request.

Bubsy himself is actually interested in coming to gog!

The teaser didn't look like anything special. But I can understand Tommo or whoever trying to capitalize on Bubsy's infamy, thanks especially to the JonTron video that brought Bubsy to everyone's attention.

Your optimism amuses me, especially knowing the history of Accolade, and seeing what happens when a company/franchise fails to die, even after blowing its own head off. (Sonic.)

Oh, good. Another reminder why things that try to be meta like that are dead.

Do you see anyone clamoring for GEX to come back?

NO, you don't.

You mean they go back to making good games like Sonic Generations?
I am strangely hyped for this.
Never heard of it, but I saw Black Forest Games, so that's somewhat promising.
Also noticed how similar it seemed to Giana sisters.

Games where they decide the smart thing to follow that up is...three games that aren't Sonic Generations 2? Or how goes that incomplete Sonic 4?
Yeah, some outsourced games to other companies while the main team takes their time doing the proper sequel, like Sonic Forces, and hiring some prominent modders in the community to make a throwback to the old titles, like Sonic Mania.
