HeDanny: Are the LEGO games really considered cheap for $6 each? That's $12 for both. I didn't pay that for all the other games in that series. That's Eight games for less than the price of those two. Most of those eight are newer, better games.

No, wait, I don't have the LEGO Indy games yet either. So it is Just the Disney owned titles I'm missing. Ah well. I'm sure they will go cheaper eventually. Until then I have enough LEGO (is that possible?) to keep me havin fun. :)
For the Lucas owned Lego games, yeah, unfortunately, that is pretty cheap. According to isthereanydeal.com, they've never been cheaper.

budejovice: I was all set to let people pass the time with no bundle with this:

Wow, I don't know what these devs are thinking, acting like school children and denying customers a game key they payed for in a bundle. This is the lack of monitoring and quality control on Greenlight which gives anyone free reign to do whatever they want and peddle any garbage game while Valve idly stands by counting the money.

MaxFulvus: Also, is Dark Messiah of M&M on Steam carries Securom ?
avatar
Grargar: "SecuROM 7 on single player executable. Appears to be inactive."
Thanks, so it's a yes :(

budejovice: Indeed. I would never ever ever buy this. Ever. I'd never even own it. I would immediately blacklist anyone that tried to gift this to me and insult their closest and dearest relatives. :)
Is this a challenge?
Back to the topic at hand, I don't think anyone's posted yet that steam has 75% off on "Valiant Hearts: The Great War"

http://store.steampowered.com/app/260230/

Which looks like a pretty unique and fantastic game somewhere in the mashup of historical/war/adventure.

requires uPlay on top of Steam as do most other Ubisoft games.

there are exceptions, like Gunslinger and I am Alive.

Assuredly not. While slightly hyperbolic, it was also genuine. :)

You almost gotta pity the guy. He couldn't have picked a worse time to screw people over. They Skyrim thing still rages on Steam. The key word here is "almost". I don't. ;)

Shame, I was tempted, just to see how you were going to fulfil the second part. ;-P

It is, it is, and here's my review to help if you need a little push: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_finished_in_2015/post67

That is a fantastic price for it, too -- I paid more than twice that ;)

Mmm. Bundle In a Box 3 was not bad for me...

the.kuribo: I've never used Games Republic before, are they generally pretty reputable?
avatar
JaqFrost: I want to say that Games Republic is 11 bit studios' own store, so you should be safe purchasing from there. This War of Mine is great and a right bargain for $6.
avatar
LinustheBold: I just signed up yesterday (for their sale) and had a problem with verifying my account and first purchase - they send mail only in HTML format, and my primary email is on a UNIX shell account, so their generated security link wasn't showing. I sent them a support request, and got a manual intervention and a very appropriate response in the course of a few hours, complete with the guy who responded acknowledging that they should really be sending emails like that in text format as well as HTML.

So, that's not a lot to go on, but they've got at least some pieces in place. They strike me as well-meaning, and my games came through without issue.
Thanks for the impressions guys, I received the code that jcosmocohen graciously sent me but unfortunately it looks like the website made a pricing mistake by allowing the code to stack earlier. When I try to apply it now it tells me the coupon code is invalid because the game is on sale. A shame, but probably just as well what with this Star Wars sale going right now and my wallet taking a pounding. :)
