OmegaX: It's not a daily deal but it wasn't on sale yesterday so I guess they are adding new games to the sale at the end of the week.
avatar
The-Business: If I understood the GG newsletter correct, the games are only on sale for this week and there will be other ones on sale next week.
Usually they did this.

nijuu: Chaos on Deponia is the cheapest ive seen it so far..... anyone else using the latest shockwave and finding its crashing on the IG store page?
avatar
CymTyr: Yeah, I was checking the sales out last night and shockwave kept crashing.
Yeah for some reason IG thought it was a smart idea to have all the timers counting down on that massive list...instead of just one timer for that screen. I just alt-control-deleted and ended shockwave running and I was easily able to scroll through the games then.
Can anyone recommend RPG Maker VX Ace for ~$24 on steam?

It's about ~$45 if you snag all the DLC as well.

That depends on how dedicated you are I suppose.
Personally I would just get a uhm less than legal copy, but I would also never finish making a game.
You could also wait and see if Game Maker Studio goes on sale, although that is waaaaay more expensive.
So basically, no I can't recommend it, but not because it's a bad product.

You should buy it only if you really are dedicated to create a game. If you just want to try to make a game, you may download the free version:

But the price of AOE2 HD is 10 USD, discount included. How can you but it for 3,5?

Ohh, you mean you get an extra discount after you buy AOE3?

I can't recommend Din's Curse enough for this price. It's highly randomized, but if you like a new experience every time you play, it's a no brainer.

I'll second the recommendation. BTW, the 'other drm' is just a keycode that you type in the first time you start the game, so it's not intrusive at all.
I'm sure everybody's seen this or has these, but GOG's own Atari sale is pretty good. Lots of games at $2.09

http://www.gog.com/promo/atari_weekend_promo_120713

I picked up Star Control 3, Moon Base Commander, Chronicles of Riddick, and Outcast. The Riddick title cost a little more maybe $5-6, but it seems recommended highly.

Thanks for the recommendations above.

As for the deals - I know, I know, Steam Sale, but if it has its own thread, I've not seen it:

Torchlight II is 75% off for 4 more hours ($5). The 4 pack is also 75% off ($15). For those that don't know, Torchlight is a Diablo-type clone (isometric fantasy based hack-n-slash), made by some folks in the industry that may have worked for Blizzard. Oh, except for the steam-punk setting.

Torchlight added some nice features, such as not having to wear out the click button on your mouse (true story), not having to always warp home to sell stuff (you send your pet away for a bit), an interesting story, and built in modding tools.

From what I gather, Torchlight II adds multiplayer PvE (no PvP, IIRC), and continues the story.

Edit: Described Torchlight
