I know, I just felt like being a prick.
I'm confused. Why is Steam still stuck on Thursday's deals(tomb raider series) for the Square Enix Weekend? It's Friday

Because they screwed up and started the sale on Thursday night instead of at 10am.

Just for your information: any Aspyr game (the porting dev house behind those games) outside of SteamPlay and the MacAppStore uses their GameAgentClient which grants you 2 activations then it's gone, if you need more you need to contact Support but your number is limited.
GameAgent started out in 2008 as an absolute DRM nightmare and, since you cannot find any decent info on their site, nothing too much has changed it seems.
That`s why I only buy their games only on Steam or the MacAppStore.

I've heard some scary stories about GameAgent's DRM policies. Is it true I only get 2 activations of the game? If I backup the game after it's activated, will I be OK?

Purchasing Borderlands 2 from GameAgent (or anywhere other than the Mac App Store) will get you the Steam-integrated version, meaning you won't have to worry about Aspyr/GameAgent's unique Mac DRM.

That being said, we generally try to be pretty open and understanding re: any game you purchase from GameAgent. We're usually happy to reset download limits, activation limits, etc, within reason.[/i]"

Screw them and GameAgent. What a shitty way to treat paying customers. Wow. I was not aware of this. Thanks for pointing it out. Just one more reason I never even bother with anyplace but Steam, GOG, the Mac App Store and rarely Amazon.com for games I cannot obtain anywhere else. That's enough retailers for me and so far I've had good luck with all of them.
